Destiny Islands
Peaceful island bathed in light where Sora lives in. However, due to the bugs in the Data World,
mysterious blocks have been appearing all over. Eliminate the blocks to make this place peaceful again.

Characters that appear in this world

Tidus
Young boy that lives in Destiny Islands.
He is a pretty lively boy that cheer up everyone.
He tends to add "ssu" to the end of every sentence. (Only in japanese)

Wakka
Young boy that lives in Destiny Islands.
Within the kids in the island, he is the oldest.
The others think of him as their big brother.

Selphie
Young girl that lives in Destiny Islands.
She has really good reflexes, so she won't lose to a boy,
but she has a romantic side as well.

Traverse Town
Town made by people who lost their homeland to the heartless. Bug blocks have been appearing
in the town, but the three brothers, Huey, Dewey and Louie have been doing research about them.
Will they be able to do something?

Cid
He's the one who manages the accessory shop in Traverse Town.
He is proud of his work and everyone respects him for it.

The three Donald's nephews, they are full of mischief.
They are excessively curious, so they tend to give rise to problems.

Wonderland
This is a weird world where things like furnitures and plants talking, getting bigger
or smaller suddenly can happen. Sora will help Alice to recover her scattered "Pieces of
Memories".

Alice
Girl that likes to fantasize and is really curious. Because of the bugs her
memories have been scattered.

The Cheshire Cat
Weird cat that is smiling all the time. He appears, says something
mysterious and then dissapears.

The White Rabbit
Servant of the Queen of Hearts.
He's busy at every moment.

Queen of Hearts
She's the most important person in Wonderland

complains about what she says.

RE:coded is set to be released October 7th for Japan. So far, an NA release date has not been revealed.

The fact that the game is taking place in a digital KH1-CoM Jiminy Journal should tip you off that they're all old worlds

-Agrabah
-Hallow Bastion

-Castle Oblivion

You don't. It's just there because KH2 made it clear that there was more to the island than just the one they play on. Since then, the graphic will show the town too, for consistency.

Except for the fact that Nomura said that, aside from some different phrasing, the story remains identical? There aren't going to be any additional worlds or areas.

Probably not, that's how the logo has been since Kingdom Hearts II.

Well, there might be, just not as part of the main story.

Nomura: Of course! Especially in the “System Area” (See page), where high level, strong enemies appear. There are many new elements that hard core players shall enjoy. Other things include Finish Commands like those from Birth by Sleep, as well as many other various conditions to meet, trophies to collect, etc.

This is from a famitsu article I found on Heartstaion. I am not sure what system area is but it sounds like something new
