Just letting everyone know, I'm planning to join this! My final exams end in a few days, so I should have a character posted by the end of this week.

I'm super excited to RP again. =D

Like Max said, we're looking forward to what you'll bring to the table! If you need help with anything just let us know. I know it's a bit of information to go through.

Okay, I swear, I came up with this character before reading the other characters here, and there are some striking similarities to Mary Pale. If this is distracting, I have another character I could use, instead. Anyway, let me know if I need to change anything.

NAME: Sienna Gallen

AGE: 20

GENDER: Female

APPEARANCE:

Sienna stands at approximately 5'7", with a fairly compact build, though her arms and shoulders are well-muscled from combat. She has short, straight, dirty blonde hair, cut at a single length save for her bangs, which are frequently not cut properly and hang over her hazel eyes. A strong, square jawline juts from below the bottom of her hair. Her features are not conventionally attractive, though they suit her face -- wide, thick lips, a wide nose, and thick eyebrows. Her skin tan, and perhaps a darker shade than one might expect for someone with dirty blonde hair. When in battle, she wears the usual armor of the Flying Lancers. Outside battle, she mostly just wears what she would wear under the armor. This usually entails a pair of riding breeches, functional leather boots, and a top -- sleeveless or sleeved, depending upon the weather. She's not one for fancy outfits, and she doesn't bother much with her appearance, but she keeps herself looking clean and presentable, if a bit disheveled.

STORY:

Sienna was born and raised in a village in Fayfield, the eldest child of Tomas and Rhea Gallen. She has a brother, two years younger, named Silas, and an older sister, her mother's daughter from a previous marriage, named Saine. Rhea and Tomas were (and are, for they are both still living), kind, understanding parents, and Sienna and Silas were raised in a relatively happy home, helping out around Tomas' small ranch/farm as needed.

Saine, however, hot-headed mess that she was, could never come to accept her stepfather, and ran away from home as a young teenager to become an adventurer. Saine did return home from time to time, and Sienna developed a deep admiration for her elder sister, who was something like a worldly uncle who returned with trinkets and tales from exotic lands that Sienna longed to discover. Sienna began to practice with a spear, in hopes of someday becoming better at combat, so that she could join her sister on her adventures. Unfortunately, Saine's last visit home was five years ago, when Sienna was 15. The family has sought word of her travels to confirm her life or death, but there has been no word of her travels in years, and she is presumed dead.

Sienna, refusing to believe in her sister's presumed demise, has vowed to find her. Because she lacks strong combat and survival skills, she decided to join the Flying Lancers, in hopes that her travels with the faction might aid her in finding her lost sister. She has been training with them for two years, and has yet to come upon any leads.

As for the rest of Sienna's family, Tomas and Rhea are still living in her childhood home. Silas has taken up his father's trade, and has just wed his childhood sweetheart, Maggie. In fact, Sienna has traveled to Blueshire for the festival with Silas and Maggie, who are celebrating their recent marriage, with Sienna serving as a sort of protective envoy.

PERSONALITY:

She longs to see the world, explore, and be independent, but at heart, Sienna craves companionship and acceptance. She is curious, and often sticks her nose in places it does not belong. She is young enough to still be naive, and believes in the best of the people she meets. She's an optimist. Despite all this, Sienna is flighty, and apt to run from responsibilities and commitment at a moment's notice. She is a member of the Flying Lancers today, but tomorrow? Perhaps not. Her familial loyalties and ties to the nation of Fayfield run deep, however. The only instance that she would betray her country would be for the sake of her family.

RACE: Human

FIGHT:

Like most in the Flying Lancers, Sienna wields a spear. Though she is not the deftest or strongest with the weapon, she has a knack for throwing her spear with remarkable accuracy.

SKILLS:

Sienna has some basic magical aptitude, her primary elemental strengths being wind and holy magic. She can conjure a light wind to aid in flight or hamper the flight of enemies on flying mounts. She can also use wind to apply pressure to individuals, though she does not have the magical strength to cause any major damage in this manner. Her holy aptitude manifests as slight healing abilities; though she cannot heal grave wounds, she can mend minor injuries with some concentration and energy expenditure.

COMMAND: Flying Lancers

OTHER:

Honestly, she's not a great Pegasus Knight. She's been with three different Pegasuses since joining the Flying Lancers and hasn't yet found a suitable mount.

Nah man, your character is fine. The only real similarities are that they're both in the Lancers and somewhat low combat skills (which really doesn't mean much.) Once I get on my PC I'll add you in, but for the meantime be secure in the knowledge that you're accepted!

This also goes for anyone, but feel free to add another character if you want! There's no real limit, so long as you can keep up.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Last night I had a dream I somehow got myself a pegasus. Instead of the dream being about the coolness of flying around on one, instead it focused on the boring crap, like where the hell am I supposed to park it? I couldn't just leave it unattended because it's a freaking pegasus and someone would have taken it. I blame the RP.

It's been awhile. Excited to get back into a role play. I'm sure Max will point out any grammatical errors I have because I didn't proof read this.

NAME: Victor Wistaf

AGE: 37

GENDER: Male

APPEARANCE:

Victor has short, dark, grey hair with dark blue eyes. He is six foot tall with a large build. He looks even larger with his heavy armor which, even though it is heavy armor, it is made of many pieces as to not hinder his movements. He does not wear a helmet but does wear a black bandanna. He appears to be in is early thirties because he maintains a clean face but his age is better revealed when noticing the many scars that are on his body and the long scar that extends from his cheek to his neck.

STORY:

Victor Wistaf is a sell sword that only cares about himself and how much coin he can get out of a job. He was orphaned at age nine when his house caught fire and burnt down. This was what he was told by the Church that took him. He has no recollection of the events nor of his family, he is not even sure of his real name. When he was of age he ran away from the Church and joined the Sword Guild. He was skilled with the sword but did not feel like he belonged in the guild. He left to join the Axe Brigade. He again found he has some skill with the axe and did not feel like he belonged in the brigade. He realized it was because he had no will to fight or die for others. He quit the brigade and began his life as a sell sword.

He took on any jobs that he could in the beginning. Many of his scars come from his early jobs that paid little and were the most dangerous, but his reputation was the true prize. He later was offered higher paying jobs and his skills had grown enough to make him a feared mercenary. He is often put at odds with the Band of Thieves, which he has grown to hate since he has lost his pay to them numerous times.

Victor’s companion is a pixie by the name of Zoe. He befriended her while he was traveling though Bluefield Forest. She is calm and collect, unlike most fairies and pixies. She has a kind heart which causes Victor discomfort. Zoe is the only creature Victor shows kindness to, and in kind the pixie has been faithful companion and friend to Victor.

PERSONALITY:

Victor has the personality of an old grumpy man. He is unpleasant to talk to and does not like to be around anyone for a long period of time unless it is for a job, then he will tolerate them. He makes threats often and will bully those around him but he is not a killer. He prefers to leave his victims crippled, unless he is paid enough coin to kill. He tries to stay away from those types of jobs. He will talk to Zoe as if it was a loving father to a daughter and he freely expresses that around others. If anyone acknowledges it he often breaks their nose. Underneath he is a lonely soul but he is his own worst enemy when it comes to being around people.

RACE: Human

FIGHT:

Victor wields a short sword in his left hand, a two sided short handle axe in his right hand. He is an expert at wielding both at the same time but is only a moderate fighter with only one equipped. He uses the sword to block enemy attacks and then unleashes heavy brutal strikes with the axe. While working with many people he had picked up basic elemental magic. He uses this magic in a very basic capacity: campfires, healing scrapes, freezing meat, etc.

SKILLS:

Firefly: Victor sets his pixie on fire with his flame magic and lets Zoe distract or blind his enemies.

Unblockable Strike: Yes it can be blocked, but if blocked it causes the person to stagger and lose some composure. Victor puts everything he has into a downward strike from his axe.

Stonewall: Victor blocks an attack by crossing his sword and axe in front of him. He believes that it can block any attack.

Rage: If angered enough Victor will become extremely violent and reckless in his attacks, his strength is also increased. Even though it appears he is reckless he subconsciously dodges and blocks attacks that would be fatal. All attacks that are nonfatal strike their mark on his body.

KINGDOM: Blueshire

Quick real update. I'm probably gonna start this up sometime soon. I didn't realize we already have a few people in the wings and have yet to actually get my opening post started, but with classes coming to a close early next week, I should have something concrete done by the end of next week. If I'm super productive (which I'm usually not) we might even start this at the start of next week or maybe even this weekend. Probably not, but I'll keep you posted!

Also, I'm leaving the RP open so anyone is free to join after we start or even after that.
