just dresses up like that so he could make fame and fortune and soon take control of disney town and diney castle and become king.

It would make sense. Pete might play for both teams in the hopes of making himself a hero for power and glory. It would fit Pete's character.

-Captain Dark runs off
-A few minutes later Captain Justice shows up
-Captain Justice says he'll save the day and runs in the direction of Captain Dark
-A Few minutes later Captain Justice returns with stolen goods
-Captain Justice gets praise
-Mickey finds out and gives Pete the boot

I don't think Mickey would given Pete the boot for something like stealing. Now if Pete were to take the attempt to a whole other level and risk the safety of the castle and it's people, then Mickey might bansih him. Like using Unverse in his plot.
