I'm really interested in seeing the behind the scenes for this movie. Nolan is known for making elaborate set pieces to make everything as real as possible without the use of CG.

Saw the movie yesterday, not sure how to feel about it yet. I think Christopher Nolan might've gone overboard with this one lol
But the cinematography is amazing. So I still consider it a great movie, just... prepare for the third act.
I just watched it when it came out on BR and you remember it just fine.Yeah the tesseract scene was about the only scene in the movie that wasn't based on anything theoretically possible in physics. Cooper and TARS should have basically been broken down into their very quarks upon crossing the event horizon of the black hole.
The movie explains that Gargantua has a "gentle singularity" or something that would allow them to cross the event horizon unscathed if they went in fast enough. Beyond that, humans from the future, or rather our very distant descendants who are 5 dimensional beings, place Cooper in the tesseract so that he can communicate the black hole information to Murph through the use of gravity.
What that scene was really about though was reinforcing the idea that Cooper has a strong bond with Murph and that their love for each other goes beyond time and space or some shit. It's been a while since I've watched it. I'll need to watch it again.
I just watched it when it came out on BR and you remember it just fine.
My only disappointment with this film was actually that it wasn't actually confusing, lol. So many people made it seem like it was totally incomprehensible and gave them an existential crises but Christopher Nolan made it as easy to understand as possible.
