Both are worlds in and of themselves, as RIA said. Castle Oblivion is a world that stands on the border of the Realm of Darkness, so it adds up that's where SDG would end up after they finished their battle at EotW.

A rather short game at that. And it contained "sub worlds" so it adds up. The castle itself is just that - a castle, and arguably the grassy crossroads.

Probably the world that Sora and them wound up on after fighting Ansem was the same world that Castle Oblivion was on, seeing as how they didn't have a Gummi Ship anymore.

The grassy hills and CO are on the same world. :\ Sora walked down a path, reached the crossroads, and that's where he saw Marluxia who led him to CO.
