3 clouds stacked together to make omnislash really helps, and have high level cures, and try to be quite a high level so you can have high hp and cp.
Use lots of zeros and sleights. Also rid ur deck of spells because it's hard to hit bosses with them.
^^^ only use 0s when he uses sleights.
Equip a lot of cards that can make slieghts, like Ars Arcana and Sonic Blade (and if you have it, Ragnarok).
hight level sleights couse he brakes much. and jumping is a good stratagie. then you don't have to worry for the ship sliding left and right.
are you playing through with Riku or Sora? He was easier with sora.
Dont use too many sleights you can end up with only a few cards.
When you have 2 clouds left try reflect raid (if you have it) it's strong.

the easier way to kill him is to haven't any magick cards to your deck(only cure high numbers) and have sonic blade ragnarok and cloud cards

lol =D I couldn't beat him too in my first few tries. ;P
i had to fight him 11 times (i counted) till i beat him, it was so annoying, but not as annoying as riku 4 i fought him 17 TIMES, so annoying,:cursing::cursing:
umm always have an sleigt when he does somthing like combo and present.break it.you have to have like a mega potion or somthing like that take out all the summon cards xcept cloud cuz hes good .if you want to do some damage without wasting could on stock cards use a weak card like a 1 or something like that.if you cant do it keep on leveling up[i know the enemys look kinda wierd and there annoying] when you get a level up ,use cp keep on doeing that until u got the cp that you want if you dont got enough hp ,.....keep on doing that youll be unstopable!
yah like what moos said train up at a normal difficulty place and then come back stronger then ever and beat him up.
its easier to be over level from the start, im on destiny islands( i startted again ) and i am level 55 of something

They were both easy... But, I was on an extremely high level... so, i don't know.
I beat Captain Hook by using Fire Raid......LOST A WHOLE LOT A MAGIC!

I do believe at a normal level he is quite a difficult boss, but beatable nonetheless

clearly if you lose agaisnt him your a complete newb, he's super easy.
