The Carta has been around for thousands of years, adopting new names, jumping from country to country, expanding their ranks. Over the centuries, other organizations have adopted the idea of "assassins" and "bounty hunters", but no human alive could amount to the power of the Carta, because the Carta was different. Members of this aloof and unique group were given extraordinary powers and the greatest gift of all immortality.
Now, at the turn of the century, new recruits have been chosen by the Leader and will undergo the trials that all Carta members have completed. The trials are not easy and only six can survive. Will it be you?
