Holding a metallic suitcase, the man with spiky silver hair was running through the corridor. He turned the corner and walked through a door into a shady crumbling room. From the two side doors of the rooms, a group of men ran through, they immediately gave chase to the man. While running, the man opened his suitcase. Inside was an assortment of odd grenades. Grabbing one shaped like a ice crystal and tossed it back towards his pursuers. It exploded, leaving dozens of ice shards flying towards the men. After losing his pursuers, the man dashes through the door at the other end of the room. He immediately stopped at the next room, where he was facing a horde of men, fronted by a powerful looking man in a trenchcoat.
"Drop the case, you have no chance to make it back to your rat friends." The man in the trenchcoat took a step forward. Immediately, the lone man took a step back.
"Never, If these are released to the armies then the world will fall into chaos! You must see this, or you are truely blinded by your pursuit of dirty money! If my words can't get through to you after all of these years, then there is nothing else for me to do." The man pulled a tab on the suitcase, activating all of the grenades. The panicked horde of men began to flee, as the man in the trenchcoat calmly reached into his pocket and pulled out a grenade of his own shaped like a crystal-like shield.
Outside of the building, a few seconds later. The entire building explodes in a clash of different elements.
Back in the building stands a lone man, wearing a trenchcoat. He walks over to a unharmed grenade shaped like a flame. He picks it up and cracks a maniacal smile. "Tsk, even in sacrifice, you still fail." A helicopter lands behind him and he climbs in.

Bomb Casters

A.D. 2034:
A new line of weaponry is released to the armies, starting with the current powerhouses of the United States, Japan, Britain, and Russia. They are grenades that contain high doses of magical energy. However, there was a problem that was quickly discovered. Not everyone could use the grenades, for only those who wielded magic properties themselves could use the grenades to their greatest extent. The armies quickly sought out and recruited the ones who held these properties in a program called Bomb Casters. The program was running smoothly until many decided that they could overthrow their respective militaries and start the world anew with a magical view in mind. The rebellions from all of the countries joined together into a grand army strictly called The Rebellion. Seeing this coming, the Bomb Casters followed suit by combining into a equal sized army which they named The Resistance. After three years of war, both sides were significantly weakened, and began recruiting members that would break the stalemate, and so the story begins.
The Resistance
An army of Bomb Casters who fight for the safe future of the world. Led by General Derge Castor, the organized army is split into 5 HQs across the world, one for each powerhouse country, and one central HQ in the Grand Duchy of Genesio, which takes over the entirety of Greenland. Perfering a technological approach, The Resistance prefers to use guns and other such weaponry. The Resistance is split into a regular army ranking system. Entering the third year of war, the Resistance has initiated a draft upon the potential Bomb Casters in order to gain the upper-hand over the Rebellion and return to a technologically advanced world.
The Rebellion
Mostly hidden from the rest of the world, the Rebellion has many small hideouts scattered throughout the different countries. The only noticable HQ is the large Palace of Vansealia with walls that have been so far unbreached by Resistance armies. Determined to create a magical world, The Rebellion commonly uses magically enhanced medieval weaponry. Led by King Garris Crynt, the army holds no ranks other than the three High Commanders who control the army unquestioned and superiored by anyone other than the King. After three years, The Rebellion begins "persuading" many members to join their hordes through many different tactics. Though questionable methods, one cannot deny the large results.
Grenades
The grenades used by both sides are split into a few categories, such as:
Regular: These are a common explosive device have been around for over a century.
Elemental: These magical grenades explode, unleashing a spell of it's matching element in the form of a fireball, a large boulder, a bolt of lightning, etc.
Defensive: When exploding, instead of harmful effects, they create different shields of different perimeters.
Healing: When exploding, these unleash a liquid that heals shallow wounds, can prevent bleeding too much, lowers swelling, and has other medicinal values.
Sticky: These grenades, which fall under the other categories, stick to surfaces that they are thrown at and explode with a possibly greater effect.

Name: General Derge Castor

Age: 48

Personality: A very business-oriented mind, he places duty before anything else. Tends to dislike people who do not obey order without question, and outright hates anyone who directly opposes him. Derge is a fairly intelligent man, and not afraid to make that fact known, but he is also valiant, and cares much for the future of the world and its people.

Appearance: Stands at 175 cm, and weighs 125 kg. He has dark green eyes, short white hair, short facial hair, and a very light complexion. He wears outdated combat fatigues, body armor, a helmet with a plexiglass visor, a mask, and combat boots. However, when not wearing his combat gear, he is usually seen in a dress uniform.

Alignment: Resistance

Weapon: Has in his possession antiquated Russian-designed weaponry in addition to massive stockpiles of ammunition for each, but usually only carries two or three of them at a time.

History: A former member of the Russian Spetsnaz, Derge Castor rose through the ranks for years and years. His high ranking earned him favor with the resistance, and he very rapidly would become a General amongst them. Derge now believes it is his duty to ensure that all potential opposition to the safety of the world needs to be smothered out, even if it means his life, and the lives of those under him.
