Wasn’t sure whether to drop this in the anime thread or video game adaptation thread, but I figured this was worth sharing. As it says on the title, we have a new game on the way based on the popular Shonen Jump manga BLEACH.
BLEACH Rebirth of Souls is a new 3D-fighting game from Bandai Namco, developed by Tamsoft Corporation, heading to PS4, PS5, XBox Series X|S, and Steam, retelling the story from the Substitute Soul Reaper arc to the Arrancar arc. Since this is a 3D fighting game in the vein of Dragon Ball Sparking/Budokai Tenkaichi and Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm, we can probably assume there will be DLC/Battle Passes for fighters from future arcs later down the line.
But what’s especially worth noting is that the soundtrack for the game is being provided by Thrill Inc., a company TWEWY and KH fans will be familiar with, as it is owned by composer Takeharu Ishimoto. As part of the game’s promotion, Bandai Namco has shared samples from the game’s soundtrack on their YouTube channel:
Any Bleach fans here excited for the game? Were you expecting Thrill Inc to be involved in the soundtrack? Feel free to share your thoughts here
