Soul Society:

Dear diary, I’m beginning to fear for my life as the days pass on. Our captain says the war between us and the Vizards is inevitable and that he was proud to have us as his squad. He sounds as if he’s already given up! No one knows how all of this started but rumor has it that some scientists was researching on if they could cross the abilities of a hollow with soul reapers. Apparently they were successful, however, the experiments went on a rampage and we had to put a stop to them. They were imprisoned and eventually when they could control it the council banished them to the world of the living for attacking SS and since they now controlled it they had no fear of them attacking humans. Now they’ve returned and they’re ready to take over.

Vizard:

We have been negotiating with the enemy for quite some time but it seems as if this is going no where, our leader assures us that talking will not solve the problem our swords would. Many are behind him but I’m not so sure I mean what are we truly fighting for? If we dictate SS we would be no better than them perhaps even worse. SS is on the brink of facing the biggest war in history and neither side truly knows who will win, a couple of us have a mission to do in a few weeks involving taking the head captain hostage they say if this goes well we can avoid war and victory will be ours.

Humans:

All is going well here on Earth we’re getting much more stronger with our abilities like my full bring, recently though there has been a few areas that have been completely annihilated. The keeper of the downtown gym, our teacher, says that he sensed Soul reapers but didn’t recognize the other spiritual pressure though he says it reminds him of a hollow. We’re now investigating the situation.

Demons:

This is just too easy, both the 13 court guards and the Vizards are so easy to manipulate. Everything is going according to my plan soon my power will rise to be even greater than my dad’s……he tried to keep me locked away down there but me and my group managed to make it to the surface now we shall bring hell to SS. Still get them to engage in an all-out war will be tough…..looks like we’ll have to do some adjusting to the plan. We demons will soon take over.

Battle system:

I’m going to try to break this down as simple as possible, the battle system in this rp will feature experience like in video games however it is a bit different than just gaining strength and such. The more battles your in the more your character adapts to different styles of combat and grows stronger in areas dependant on what style they use and such. I WILL NOT allow for characters to learn new moves after each battle and definitely will not allow them to master it on the spot. I will allow training sessions to be allowed within the RP and if you want to learn a new technique and such you are to run it by me and if I approve you can add it to your template. No new moves are allowed to be learned in bankai state if you have it at the beginning and up to 2 new kido spells can be added if your character learns them. Weaknesses are to be stuck with throughout the RP they shall not change unless something happens to your character, characters are not to know immediately of said weakness and will have to discover it throughout the battle.

2. No power playing, unless you have permission from the user controlling the character
3.Keep Romance at, if any, at PG-13
4. If you can’t post for a while please tell me.
5. Paragraph minimum is 2 paragraphs but more would be great.
6. As far as characters go, please make only as many as you can keep up with.
7. No Mary-sues or Gray-stus. In case you don’t know what they are, they are characters without any flaws.
8. Be kind to one another, if your characters hate each other fine, but be nice to the Rper.
9. It would be appreciated if you posted at least three times a week if that’s too much then tell me and I’ll adjust it.
10. You are not allowed to kill off another character without the permission of the user controlling them.

Appearance: He is African American with golden eyes and short black hair. His battle attire consists of his modified school uniform (a white dress shirt, untucked, with black dress pants and a black sportscoat over it, unbuttoned and black dress shoes) that is toughened to serve as very light armor.
When doing important missions or battles he has a tendency to button it up.

His casual wear is a red shirt with dark blue jeans and a black jacket over it, unzipped, with black sneakers.

Jerico always has on a black and silver ring with a yellow stone in the middle. On the sides are the kanji that stand for ‘Safe’ ( on the left side and on the other). It was given to him by his dear friend Yukina. He wears it on his right ring finger

In his pocket is a meteorite given to him by his father. He carries it around with him wherever he goes and it serves as his focus for his fullbring.

Side: Whatever side benefits him and his friends the most

Weapon Description: Fullbring. Meteorite turns into a large gold and black double-pronged cattle prod in appearance. Jerico uses it to channel his electricity and to and attack enemies with

Powers/Abilities: Fullbring. Jerico is able to manipulate the 'soul’ of static electricity around him to battle with. He can get it from almost any source but carries around batteries in his pockets to get charge from during desperate situations when he runs out. Most of the time though he gets it from the special shard of meteorite that was given to him by his father that always holds a charge. This also doubles as his focus and morphs itself into an ‘amp’ (see above) for Jerico to do serious battle with.

Jerico’s fullbring is incomplete but he has halfway mastered high speed movement and can also accelerate in mid-air.

Jerico’s electricity based attacks are as follows:

Shield: Jerico can charge static electricity around a part of his body (like an arm or torso) and increase his defence drastically reducing damage from incoming attack. It can also be used to increase his physical strength as well

Thrust: Jerico charges his amp full of electricity and rushes towards the foe, summoning his electric armor all over his body at the same time to increase his speed, offence and defense and then pierces his opponent, or at least tries to.

Wave: Jerico charges his amp full of electricity and swings it in the direction of his opponent, sending a burst of electric from it onto the opponent. This move not only damages them but there is a chance it can also paralyzes them as well

Weapon Ability: Jerico’s amp is constantly charged with electricity and therefore can paralyze on contact.
Also the electricity sharpens Jerico's vision and perception. This allows him to focus solely on his target and can pick up on the subtle changes in said target. Which he uses to help predict their next move. He can also track faster moving targets to a certain extent. The downside is that using this more often than not results in Jerico having a headache that lasts for quite some time and during this time he cannot properly battle.

Personality: Jerico is a jokester. He's always cracking a joke and determined to see the brightside of any situation. An optimist by nature Jerico isn't the type of person to give up on things whenever he gets a goal in mind. He is very loyal to his friends and would go to any length to save them from any danger they might be in. After gaining his fullbring and gaining valuable combat experience from battling the hollow Jerico has settled well into his and his friend’s new, far more active and dangerous, lifestyle and therefore is able to keep a cool head during confrontations.



Weaknesses: If Jerico runs out of electricity to draw from his attack power sharply decreases. Without his meteorite (or at least his ring) Jerico can’t use his fullbring (he does not know that his ring can also be used as a focus yet)

Not very good at thinking up strategy although every now and then he can come up with a clever plan

Jerico also is very confident, which leads to him underestimating opponents.



Bio: Jerico was born to Timothy and Camille Jacques. His father was an researcher and away on business a lot and his mother was always busy so that left him by himself to really take care of his younger sibling Brandon. One day when Jerico was about thirteen his father came home with a present for Jerico: a shard from a meteorite that was recently discovered by his company. It has a strange electromagnetic charge inside of it and thought that Jerico would like it and also be a sort of apology gift for the boy to make up slightly for his constant absences. Jerico loves it and from that day forth carries it around with him at all times in order to keep his father fresh on his thoughts.

One day Jerico comes home to find it in flames, his mother dead and his brother being crushed to death by a monster with a hole in its chest. Jerico tries to attack it and defend his younger sibling but is thrown into a wall and severely injured. As Brad is being stomped to death Jerico clutches the meteorite given to him by his father and begs it to lend him strength so he can somehow pull his brother out of the situation he’s in. There is a flash of bright yellow light and what looks like a cattle prong materializes in Jerico’s hand, crackling with electricity. A confused Jerico rushes forwards and fights back the monster but is eventually bested, his weapon turning back into a rock. Exhausted, defenseless and slowly bleeding out onto the carpet, all hope seems lost but then Jerico’s father comes out of nowhere and quickly dispatches the monster using the same sort of electro abilities Jerico just displayed. Timothy tells him to relax and that everything will be explained later as the boy finally passes out.


Jerico is in the hospital for weeks, due to entering an angst coma (also known as Post Traumatic Catatonia) when he eventually awakens he learns from his father about hollow and fullbring. Which was passed on from father to him. He learns that Brandon is wheelchair bound and will remain this way for the rest of his life and also that his father quit his job in order to take care of the two boys and teach Jerico to control and utilize his new powers. They move into a new town and Jerico begins his training at 15, a year after the attack.

About a quarter of the way through this training Jerico meets Yukina, a mysterious pink haired girl who says she can completely heal Brandon from his injury. Allowing him to walk again. Jerico eagerly accepts this deal but before it can be cemented Yukina is attacked by hollow and taken away to their nest. Noting the strangeness of this Timothy urges Jerico not to go after her, the soul reapers will handle things and that she’ll be fine and its simply too dangerous for Jerico to go alone. Jerico lasts about an hour before he simply cannot take it anymore and goes off to rescue the girl, sneaking out of the house and rushing towards the beaches, chasing a hollow that crossed his path on the way but didn’t notice him. Once at the beach the hollow is destroyed by a mysterious blonde boy who also seems to possess a fullbring. An angry Jerico yells that now he can’t find the nest and save ‘a important girl’ but the boy sneers that he knows where the nest is and that he will save Yukina on his own. Jerico snaps that he won’t be left behind and the two boys clash, the blonde refusing to lead him there and Jerico refusing to leave the area. After a harsh duel Jerico emerges victorious and at the same time completes a move that he’d been having trouble with up until that point.

At this point Timothy arrives on the scene, healing the blonde and scolding Jerico at the same time. He sighs and says that they would simply have to save Yukina together and the blonde is introduced to be a boy named Andrew martin. The trio reach the nest and kill off all of the weaker hollow until only the leader remains. Jerico and Andrew battle at together at first, learning about teamwork in the process, but are defeated. The leader is killed by Timothy just as the two teens are about to be finished off and Timothy comments that he could have done that all along but didn’t because then the two wouldn’t learn anything and move forward. Yukina is saved and reveled to be a close friend of Andrew’s. She recovers from her ordeal and successfully heals Brandon. In gratitude Jerico swears to protect her from that day forward and always be there for her whenever she needs it, unknowingly echoing Andrew’s words from when he and Yukina first met. In response to this Yukina makes a ring for Jerico thats identical to her own and Andrew’s. Its supposed to act as good luck charm and hopefully will bring him safety. Jerico promises to cherish it forever.


The weeks pass by and the trio form a powerful friendship and bond. Andrew joins Jerico in his training to master his fullbring and the trio are trying their best to live peaceful lives.

Weapon Description: Fullbring. When wearing the ring Yukina gave him, Andrew can turn his bokken (which is a black practice sword and his very first) into a katana with a silver blade and brown and blue hilt. Andrew channels water around the blade and can preform a variety of attacks. Displaying very adapt swordsmanship

Powers/Abilities: Fullbring. Andrew is able to manipulate the 'soul’ of water around him to use for battle. Most of the time it automatically covers his sword when he first activates fullbring and since then has created a move to turn the battlefeild around him into a lake of sorts to tip the advantage his way. Also thanks to his fullbring Andrew can walk on any watery surface.

Andrew’s fullbring is incomplete (like Jerico’s) but he is able to use high speed movement and can accelerate in mid-air.

Andrew’s water based attacks and abilities are as follows:

Lake: Andew activates his fullbring and stabs his water covered blade into the ground, covering the area around him with water that he can walk on and use for his attacks. Note that this move cannot work on things that absorb water such as sand.


Reflection: Andrew creates a wave of water that acts as a mirror, distracting his opponent with his refection on the water. Meanwhile Andrew attacks from the opposite direction. Note that this can also be used defensively, summoning a mirror during a attack and then hiding to avoid taking damage.


Water wall: Andrew holds his sword backwards (with his opposite hand) and spins around in a 360 degree circle to create a whirlwind like shield of water to block an attack and can also send an opponent flying backwards. Can be penetrated by the more skilled opponents.



Weapon Ability: Andrew’s katana is almost always covered with water, this increases the blade's sharpness while at the same time making it lighter, which makes for faster swings and quicker blocking time but still keeping the deadliness of the weapon. Unfortunately the sword is FAR easier to break while using this ability so Andrew be vigilant so he does not break his weapon by mistake.


Personality: In contrast to Jerico’s easy going attitude Andrew is much more serious than his laidback friend. At first he refused to use or have anything to do with hollow or full brings or anything but after a hollow attack, being defeated by Jerico, and protecting Yukina from the danger she was in, he changes his mind and trains hard to help Jerico protect her and the town they all lived in from hollow. Andrew is very sarcastic and normally does what he can to keep Jerico in line and put a stop to his more wild schemes. At the same time he has a soft side and is very loyal to his two closest friends: Yukina and Jerico. Due to this he is willing to die for them if the opportunity ever arises.





Weaknesses: Without ‘lake’ Andrew’s power sharply decreases if he is not near any sort of water. Although his sword automatically wraps itself in a layer of water whenever he activates his fullbring his full power cannot be used without using lake or being near water.

Andrew is also known to succumb to anger easily, making him sloppy and providing openings for the enemy to exploit.

Like Jerico, Andrew also is very confident, which leads to him underestimating opponents.

Bio: Andrew had a rough childhood, abandoned by his mother and father and left on the streets to try and fend for himself when he was only 5. At the tender age of 7 he joins a street gang known as the hornets. Andrew was fiercely loyal to them since they took him in and gave him a place where he could truly fit in and belong. It is also because of them that Andrew gains a wooden sword, setting him on the path to become a swordsman skilled enough to protect what was important to him. Andrew trains hard, working himself to the bone in order to grow stronger and soon bests the strongest swordsman in the group, cementing his position as number four in the gang.

When Andrew was 10 the hornets were attacked by a new gang, the sharks. Andrew fights to defend his family figures but the hornets are decimated, badly injured by the shark gang’s swordsman, Marcy. Andrew and the leader of the hornets, Ray, are the only two members of the hornets left and Marcy charges in to finish them off. Andrew fights back and after a vicious duel Andrew is defeated and his wooden sword is broken in half. Unable to move Andrew watches in horror as the sharks swarm the hornet base and mercilessly beat Ray until he falls limp on the ground. Andrew manages to crawl away, eventually passing out in a ditch from his wounds.

Andrew wakes up later in a nice bed, bandaged up and cared for. A girl with pink hair introduces herself as Yukina and says that her mom found Andrew in their ditch and decided to take him in and heal his wounds. Andrew is grateful but can’t bring himself to be cheerful, knowing that the closest thing he had to a family was scattered and disbanded and that he’ll be all alone again on the streets until he’s hunted down and probably killed by the sharks. Andrew spends a few months with Yukina and her family until all of his wounds are healed. They then have a surprise for him: the boy can stay with them forever if he wants, they think of him as the son they never had. Andrew quickly accepts and Yukina smiles at him, handing him a ring that like hers that she hopes will give him luck and bring him safety. Her father, knowing that Andrew likes kendo and swords, gives him a black bokken to practice with as well as signing him up for kendo lesions. Andrew says that he’ll treasure the gifts and swears to Yukina that he’ll always protect her and will be by her side as long as she needs someone.



By age 14 Andrew is a happy teen yet mature for his age at the same time. He gets good grades in school and he lives happily with Yukina and her family, thinking of the girl as a sister. However Andrew’s past eventually catches up with him as he is confronted by Marcy, who is now the leader of the sharks. The gang had grown far more violent in the four years since destroying the hornets and Marcy revels that she tracked down each and every member and killed them with her ‘powers’. Andrew is the last one.
She tells the twenty people she brought with her to kill the teen but they are all quickly defeated by the enraged Andrew, who calmly states that he will crush her and everything she stands for. Marcy comments that she’s undefeated and then launches into a tale about being rejected by the hornets for being ‘too dark for their tastes’. Since then she swore to destroy them and fueled by hatred she achieved her goal. All except for Andrew. The two duel and are dead even at first. Marcy comments that she’s impressed that Andrew hasn’t lost any of his drive to win that he had back when they dueled the first time. She then remarks that it will never be enough to finsh her and then activates what Andrew will later find out to be her fullbring, her red bokken morphing into a broadsword. The fight becomes one sided in Marcy’s favor and Andrew is eventually outclassed and on the verge of death, covered in deep cuts and slowly bleeding out on the pavement. Marcy says that this time she’ll make SURE Andrew cannot crawl away. The blonde spits blood in her eye and says that he will not die here, as that would make Yukina sad. He says that he when he does die it will be protecting her and slowly stands up and in a flash of blue light his bokken morphs into a katana. The two clash one last time but Andrew easily tears through Marcy’s guard and impales her heart, the girl bleeds out on the pavement and Andrew passes out from his own wounds.


Andrew wakes up in a strange room to see a African American man named Timothy calmly reading a book beside his bed. He informs Andrew that he had witnessed the battle between him and Marcy and had taken him back to his house before the police could show up and arrest Andrew for murder. He then goes on to tell Andrew about fullbrings and hollow. Andrew sneers that he wants nothing to do with any of that and gets out of bed, wincing and slipping onto the ground. Timothy comments that one day Andrew will need to be prepared whether he like it or not because now that he activated fullbring the hollow WILL come after him and his family. Andrew scoffs and leaves the house, making it back to his home where he is tackle hugged by Yukina and then scolded by the girl for making her worry so much. He’d been missing for four days. Andrew cooks up a story to tell Yukina and her parents and they buy it, but ground him for two months. Yukina uses magic to heal the rest of Andrew’s wounds and the boy spends his punishment meditating in his room and reading about different sword styles.


Months later Andrew is ambushed by monsters. The teen reconises them to be what the man named Timothy had warned him about: Hollow. When his bokken proves to be no match for the creatures Andrew consciously calls for his powers to reawaken, using his resolve and love for Yukina to summon his fullbring. Its enough to defeat the hollow but when Andrew returns home he discovers that Yukina is missing. Angerily he rushes back to the beach he’d been attacked on and deduces that she must be in their nest, which should be right around here somewhere. Its then when an African American boy arrives, chasing a hollow. Andrew activates his fullbring and kills it, which causes the boy to yell angrily that now he’ll ‘never find the nest and save an important girl’. Andrew deduces that this girl is Yukina and states that he’ll find her on his own and he already knows where the nest is. The boy snaps that he won’t be left behind and the two fight each other with their respective fullbrings, the other boy eventually emerging victorious.

  • Teleportation: warping the wind and air around himself, creating a wormhole or gate that lets him appear instantaneously anywhere within 50 feet of himself (in battle). Outside of battle he can get to whereever he wants as long as he can sense their spiritual pressure
  • Wind Armor :(Living Wind that allows character to control wind pressure and movement similar to Naruto's, Gaara's sand)

Bankai:
  • O2 Depro: removes oxygen from surrounding area (50 ft) as he moves. The removed air is then stored in his Inner World and fed from there to Juuro.
  • Soyokaze: pressurized pockets of air invisible to the naked eye that are a advanced part of the Wind Armor. These pockets swirl around the body as needed for offense/defense. When an enemy comes into contact with Soyokaze they are afflicted with nasty internal injuries as well as heavy lacerations.
  • Hikō: gains giant wings (that match the Bankai) that allow flight and can be used for defense.



Powers/Abilities:
  • Kaze-kama: a powerful wind based attack that is released from the hand or sword. Upon release a powerful wind tears through the area designated. This wind is under such intensity it is capable of cutting the skin and tattering clothes causes heavy fatigue and unstableness to opponent in base form. (In Shikai it can cause deep gashes and cuts. In Bankai it is capable of severing heads and limbs.)
  • Kaze o kōro: A compressed wind orb the size of a baseball that when received by the enemy causes exponential damage internally and to the skin, eyes, ears, etc.. (power and damage increases through the use of Shikai, and Bankai)

Weaknesses: Fire Zanpakuto users, the fire tends to eat away at Juuro's wind. Making it less effective and useful.

Personality: Juuro is a sarcastic stay away from me kind of guy, now dont get him wrong he isnt a jerk he is just introverted and has a nasty temper. Juuro tends to go overboard even after defeating an opponent and hurting the individual after they are beaten. Juuro also has an awful bad habit of chasing after girls though, its his sickness..

Bio: Juuro was born in Japan. He had a simple upbringing, nothing special. He graduated High School with B's and C's. It wasnt until one day when he heard a woman scream did his life go beyond average. Juuro was shot while saving that woman. Juuro watched as the woman ran, she ran as hard as she could. The man who shot him walked over his dying body and said these words " For that I will hunt you down after this life and kill you again." Juuro never forgot that. After his passing Juuro found himself in Soul Society. Juuro trained there for a long time working his way up the ranks. Fifty years had passed since Juuro's human death. He was an Adequate fighter and respected within Soul Society. After those fifty years Juuro was confronted by a man whose first and only words before he attacked were "Remember me shit-head?" Juuro was beaten once again and taken captive and experimented on. While physically beaten and unconscious Juuro finds himself within his Inner World, he sees a person that looks exactly like him except somehow different. This person, this me, challenges Juuro to a life or death fight. Juuro accepts and the battle commences. After what seemed like eons the fight was over juuro had won, barely.. Shortly after Juuro's victory he awoke and sat up he was in a laboratory. After swinging his feet over the side of the table Juuro looked over to a small table with a mirror on it, he felt compelled to go and look in the mirror. Jurro picked the mirror up and saw his reflection.. he was wearing a mask? What is this he wondered. It was then that the man appeared once again and explained that his experiment was a success. He then put his blade to Juuro's throat and said fight me freak. Juuro summoned his Zanpakuto and called on its Shikai. "Breath of Life, Kaze-ga-ha" the two fought once more and Juuro landed a seemingly fatal blow to see the man escape in a puff of smoke with sinister laughter following.. Juuro swore that day that he would kill that bastard and erase his very existance entirely.

I will start working on a temp now, I can't decided between Vizard or Captain.

I was going for the Vizard Leader, but if the temp is not enough or you have someone else in mind for that spot then I will change a few things to fit a member spot.

Weapon Description: When Kenrochi Zakpakten is sealed it looks like a regular katana, but with a red handle and orange hand guard.

Shikai Description: General Image It's the last sword on the bottom of the list.

Ignite and Burn, Kenrochi

The blade is tinted orange with a red and yellow fire design along the blade to the hand guard which looks like a fireball and the handle it red.

Ignite, Burn and Scorch, Kenrochi Zakpakten

When in Bankai mode Kenrochi Zakpakten’s blade transforms into a fox like being made from fire itself. The guard and handle remain in Kaiju’s hand. Kaiju controls Kenrochi by swinging the handle around as though there was a blade at the end. Kaiju’s clothes change to a version of his old soul reaper outfit. The cloth design are the same but, instead the colors are red and orange. Where the end of the sleeves and pant holes are a fire design starts and ends half way up the arms and legs. This outfit serves as a light armor.

Weapon Ability:

Shikai: Only one for now. Learn another later on.

Kasai Tsuisutā- By simply twirling Kenrochi around like a fan, Kaiju can create a swirl of fire that acts much like a tornado. It can only reach thirty feet and lasts about a minute

Bankai: Only two.

Kasai no Tatchi- Anything Kenrochi Zakpakten touches becomes seeded with the possibility to be set ablaze. Once an object is touched, all Kaiju has to do is utter the command and any one object is set on fire. The fire isn’t to hard to put out, but each time it’s touched it can yet again be set ablaze.

Kasai Kurōn- Kenrochi can create two other copies of itself made out of fire. They can’t attack, but they can be used to distract a foe.

Powers/Abilities:

Flash Step- a movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow.

Nadegiri- This basic technique allows for a precision cut of extreme force and speed, it can casually slice through large, multi-story high opponents protected by steel skin. The opponent can be killed with one swift slash so precise, that they aren't even aware of until after it has taken place

Ikkotsu- A fast moving punch with the power to destroy a building in a moment, but only if it makes contact.

Weaknesses: Kaiju is vulnerable to all forms of Kido. Also during his bankai his clothes may act as a sort of light armor, but he is still open for most head on attacks.

Kido: Kaiju has no Kido ability, not now nor from the past.

Personality: Kaiju is a simple yet complex person. His outward appearance can be simple yet his emotions can be complex. Most of the time he is either being serious or some what happy. When he is around his subordinates he will be a serious leader, never wavering in decisions. When with his higher comrades he will act a bit more relaxed but still serious. When in battle he goes from being serious to happy, he loves the heat of battle. He says his mind still remains but he is overcome with pure joy at the sight of his sword clashing with another. He is a loyal friend, protects anyone unable to protect themselves.

Bio: Kaiju was born in the Rukon District. He was an orphan much like many other soul reapers before him. He lived a tough life. Having to steal and scrounge for food. He never sought a soul reapers job, as a matter of fact he didn’t like many soul reapers. When he turned a certain age he found he could sense spiritual pressure from a long distance away. Kido on the other hand just wasn’t his thing.

One day while walking through one of the districts he stumbled upon a hollow. This hollow in particular didn’t look like normal hollows. It was more defined, had more of a common shape. Kaiju was chased for quite a while, before it was stopped. A group of soul reapers apprehended the beast and proceeded to capture it. The leader of the group in question noticed the boy had potential and immediately set about to enroll Kaiju in the Soul Reaper Academy.

Kaiju spent a lot of time in the academy. His teachings went beyond normal students. He didn’t want to be a soul reaper, but he didn’t want the person putting him through to be offended either. His Kido skills still needed work and he couldn’t use much. His blade skills on the other hand were above exceptional. He exceeded above his classmates in the way of the sword.

After ten long years he finally finished school and was inducted into the Ninth division. At the time he was entered he was nothing more than a rookie. He slowly rose up the ranks until he was at a third seat position. He made himself known. He was to be reviewed for a captains position. He was on his way to the review when he was kidnapped.

He remembers walking to the Head captains office when he was restrained and bound. There were very few times he remembers waking up and seeing his surroundings only to be knocked out again. Once he could hear a loud roar, he saw what looked like the same hollow that attacked him when he was younger, only this time it looked bigger and had the shape of an animal. When he awoke again he saw the man who requested he become a soul reaper. The last and final time he awoke he found he couldn’t move he was bound. When he tried to yell all he could hear was a blood curdling scream. Ahead was a mirrored surface. In the surface he saw what looked like himself with a mask on. His eyes told him he was no longer himself.

Kaiju awoke to what he suspected was weeks, if not months. He was chained in a prison made of Kido. Strange men in lab coats and other strange soul reapers visited him on a regular basis. Some came to train him, others to do tests. He never understood what kind of training it was, but he had no choice. After what felt like twenty years Kaiju was released and put before a set of judges. They banished him to the Human world. Kaiju spent years training and dealing with what he now was. He swore he would get back at the Soul Reapers who did this to him. Kaiju formed a group of others like him. An important job draws near that may pull the war in their favor.

Appearance:

Hayate looks to put it simply, like a measly little runt. He is not 'built' particularly well, being only 5 foot three and having a slim, lithe frame. However, he is undoubtedly handsome. He has large, bright eyes which creates an illusion of innocence. That deception, however, can be easily overcome if one was to observe a little glint in his crimson eyes, a spark which reveals knowledge and maturity beyond his supposed age. His thick, red hair is his most noticeable feature, however. It is not 'used' to frame his face in any distinct way. Instead, he allows it to fall naturally, drooping over his eyes and cascading over his cheeks yet sticking out at parts. His complexion is 'wheat' toned so he seems slightly tanned to others.

Hayate wears a standard long sleeved captain's haori. It is primarily white with lines of black bordering the garb. The tenth devision sign, a '+' is diplayed prominently on his back, enclosed by a black rhombus. His Zanpakutō is hung on his back, it's sheath is attched to a sash which is worn around his torso. He wears no more accessories.

Sword Name:Kyōdō kasai

Weapon Description:

The sword has the basic shape of a katana. The blade is curved but thicker than most, it is single edged and a thin line of crimson runs along this. The rest of the blade is a dull silver. The guard is a four point, gold star. The grip is long enough to accomodate two hands and has knitted red thread surrounding it.

Shikai Description:

The blade completely transforms in shikai form. Three holes appear along the blade, these holes sometimes have a 'fire orb' spiralling in them. The number of orbs indicate the power he is exerting. In addition, the blade thickens even more and the handle shortens so that it no longer has the appearance of a katana. The guard changes shape to an intricately designed dragon head and dragon wings. A 'tail' of fire extends from the grip, it constantly flickers and sways. The colour ratio and placement stay the same, silver blade with crimson edge, gold guard and red-knitted grip.

Bankai Description:

The sword disappears at first. Hayate's body is consumed and covered by flames, this is a mere cloak at this stage but 'develops' more upon a command. The sword reappears as the fire and the body 'become one'. It has now been reverted to its original shape. Almost instantaneously, the blade extends out rapidly, elongating several times over and decreasing in width. Like his body, the blade is covered with flames and similarly this can be 'developed' further.

Weapon Ability:

Shikai abilities.
1)Kasai-ka- Hayate slashes his sword powerfully into the ground, channelling his fire into the ground. Almost immediately, the earth beneath an enemy feet crumbles and heats up. The next moment, that area explodes and a mass of magma is forced upwards. If it as an aerial fight, however, Hayate will simply slash downwards and a sheet of flames will rush upwards from below a target's feet. (I'll probably change this ability or edit it in someway)
2)Ritoru kasai no bakudan- The fire orbs that are 'held' in Hayate's sword can be used for more than just an indication of how much strength he is using. Hayate is able to release them at will, allowing them to spiral quickly towards the target. They are heat tracking and explode upon contact, fully wrapping a foe in flames.

Bankai abilities
1)Honoo no karada-This esentially, is his bankai's 'developed' state so to speak. His body and zanpkuto are no longer simply 'wrapped' in flames. In this form it would be more accurate to say they become flames. His skin appears to peel away revealing a bright red mass of flames in his humanoid form. His zanpakuto disappears and reappears as a long sword made completely of fire. In adddition, he can grow dragon-like wings on his back and his hands and feet can widen and appear more claw-like. It should be noted that this has yet to be mastered as he does not in fact become a total flame, it is still 'cloak-like' to an extent.
2)Kaen kēji-Hayate places his sword in front of him. Lines of flames appear, forming a perimeter around his foe and himself. These straight lines then curve, becoming longitudinal and joining at a single point at the top and botton of the newly formed sphere. The fire then stretches and spreads, covering the spaces in between. This forms a circular, cage of fire within which the enemy is trapped. Hayate can control this ball and 'belt out' fire balls, fire sheets etc. from any point inside or out.

Powers/Abilities:

-Hi no iki- Being a Kido prodigy and a brilliant thinker, Hayate was able to create an ability called 'fire breath.' It is a special type of move he designed which allows him to breath out powerful flames at will--without incantations or his Zanpakutō.
-Kasai supairaru-This was another 'Kido-type' move he invented for himself, in addition to 'Hi no iki.' He is able to spiral rapidly on his palms or heels through the use of reiatsu. While rotating, he releases thick flames. Because of his rapid rotation, this creates a fire vortex around him which can be used for defence and in rare cases, offence.

Weaknesses:

Being a captain, Hayate does not have any prominent weaknesses or any weaknesses known to others. However, this is because no one has exposed it. He is rather weak at hand to hand combat. He is able to keep up speed wise but his strength is not up to mark. Therefore he prefers mid range or far range combat, however, he is more than capable at close range with his sword in hand. If one was to force his sword away from him,however, and be fast enough to prevent him from using Kido, the battle would be as good as lost. Good luck with that though. In addition, he does not have the same amount of experience as other captains.

Kido:

Bakudō
Kyokko(26)-Hides the target from sight, by bending light. The spell has the ability to totally hide the presence and reiatsu of the user or specified object.
Enkosen(39)-Summons a shield of condensed reiatsu to block opponents' attacks.
Rikujōkōrō (61)-Summons six thin, wide beams of light that slam into a target's midsection, holding them in place. The target is then unable to move any part of their body including the parts that were not struck by the beams.
Sajo Sabaku(63)-This spell binds the arms of a target by creating several chains.
Danku(81)-Creates an energy barrier in the form of a rectangular wall.


Hadō
Shakkahō (31)-Fires a ball of red energy at a target.
Sōkatsui(33)-Fires a burst of blue spiritual energy at a target, over a wide area and with great power.
Haien(54)-Fires a blast of purple spiritual energy that will incinerate a target completely when it makes contact
Tenran(58)-A widening tornado-like blast is fired towards the target.
Raikōhō(63) -Fires a massive wave of yellow energy at a target.
Hiryugekizokushintenraiho(88)-Fires a gigantic electricity blast of spiritual energy resulting in a truly enormous explosion.

Healing.
Basic healing. He can cure flesh wounds but little more.

Personality:

Despite the nature of his zanpakuto and his abilities, Hayate has an ice cool personality. Very rarely would he show any real emotion, any real passion, any real 'fire.' He is not one to get flustered easily, preferring instead to think of solutions logically. His motto is "there's nothing worse than a wasted thought." This reflects another dimension of his personality which is that of an intellectual. He is always thinking, always critical of what is going on.

Hayate takes pride in both his combat and mental abilities. He trusts himself to do a job better than anyone else. As a result he has a habit of unintentionally speaking to others in a condescending manner.

Bio:

Hayate does not remember much of his life alive. He does not remember his parent's faces nor if he had any siblings or anything of the sort. He vaguely remembers that he came from a wealthy family and that he had the ability to see spirits. In addition, he has been told that he died in an accident involving a hollow.

He was sent to the first district, Junrinan which is a part of west Rukongai. As it is closest to the center , the place is naturally the most peaceful. As a result Hayate lived a calm life in Junrinan making a few friends and rarely getting into trouble. He was taken care of by an old woman whose name was Herita. She found him when he first came to Rukongai and brought him up along with several others.

It became apparent rather quickly that he had high spiritual pressure. One day his friends came to the conclusion that the best life they could get would be in Seireite. As a result they practised making 'reiatsu balls', however, Hayate was the only person capable of producing one. That too, one larger than any of them had ever seen.

One day while the captain of squad ten came to the area on a visit to his original home, he met with Hayate by chance. He immediately realised that Hayate had powerful reiatsu and asked him to come to the Shinigami academy with him. Hayate consulted with his friends who out of jealousy urged him to stay in Rukongai. His grandmother, however, felt he should leave. None of this mattered in the end, as he had already decided that the moment he got the opportunity he would go to Seireite. He felt, out of ego perhaps, that his power was too great to waste.

Upon his first examination and indeed before that, it became apparent that a true genius had entered the Academy. He was a prodigy at Kido and quickly grasped both Shunpo and Zanjutsu. He was put into the accelerated class yet graduated about two years before any one else. During this time, a well known member of the year six class became interested in this 'hotshot.' He challenged Hayate to a battle which was bitterly fought. Over the course of the fight Hayate's zanpakuto revealed itself and he eventually won.

Due to his excellence in Kido, he was wanted by the Kido corps. The tenth devision captain, however, made a special request to allow Hayate to join his squad. Since then he has done nothing but grow. While on a rather strenuous mission he learnt his sword name and developed his Shikai. As the years passed and his abilities grew he began developing his bankai and learnt it exceptionally fast. It is yet to be fully mastered though.

He became captain when the previous tenth division leader left to join the zero squad due to the 'personal recommendation' method. It has only been 12 years since then.

I'm definitely in as a Soul Reaper. Not sure if I want to try a captain position though, but i'm sure I want to be in the Second Division.

Edit:// If anyone is going to be the Captain of the Second Division, I am more then happy to be there Lieutenant.

I put captain in my WIP template. Is there something which you think contradicts that? I can always put Lieutenant but I figured it wasn't as if there were over 13 people figthing for captaincies.

Yes that's right, about the captain situation you'll have to state how that person got to such a rank with it being a different being than the soul reapers as long as you do that its fine with me.

the second is tied with special forces, but I didn't say that specifically. I said recon and extreme forces. They're seriouslly two different things.

I was only asking because I wanted to know if your division was going to fit the character I was making.
