I kinda did the same thing sometime last year. My friends and I were discussing Days, and one of them was playing something on the Go, and said he bought it for BBS, so I just looked at him like this :\

My circle of friends (5 of them besides me) love kingdom hearts and only one of us had a psp already (it wasn't me and the model was 2000). 4 of my friends bought go's and I bought a 3000. They are actually watching me type this right now as I laugh at there faces. Note we all bought psp's for BBS.

This really sucks for me though. I bought a Go hoping that even thought BBS wasnt released for it in Japan i figured it might in America because its more popular here but sadly no. So now i have to pay $200 dollars and buy the PSP BBS bundle. Plus another 99$ for the Playstation Move Starter Bundle and 50$ for a second controller FML.

Thats why it was smarter for the consumer to buy the product (3000) that could play both formats, download or umd, and not rely on an assumption.
