Billy Zane was awesome as the more evil Ansem. As Riku/Ansem I think Richard Epcar did ok because he wasn't really supposed to sound evil anyways. And the guy who voiced Xemnas was really good at showing the nothingness in the character: emotionless (which is usually bad, but good in this case)

Definitely. Richard Epcar (I think it was) is a piece of absolute anus on a stick which should be burnt until nothing remains.

Yeah, I'd say Mena Suvari was trying too hard, that's why it sucked. But her normal voice is sweet. If she hadnt tried to change her voice, it would have worked out.
I hadnt noticed much difference with Yuffie. Maybe CCR's voice was a little sharper.
David was way better than Doug. He's voice rocked. In KH2, Leon sounded too young.
I'd like Billy Zane to replay Xehanort's heartless, as well as Xehanort. But Xemnas can keep his voice actor. It may take 5 minutes for him to finish a sentence but it's not the VA's fault, it's the script.

well im not too sure hes gonna come back because in the new secret movie it shows an old man who could now possibly be xehanort. If he is xehanort, and hes in this form in kh3 , then they will probably will use the voice of an older man's to cast him.

i wish they bring back billy zane he was perfect for the role
yeah everyone knows he was much better as "ansem", but i don't think its was squares intention to replace him....several other reasons coulda contributed...scheduling conflicts, money.....he might not have wanted to do it again, if square could get him again i'm sure theyd jump at the chance.

He wasn't the new Ansem simply because they couldn't get him, I believe. I remember someone sent a letter to Billy Zane and he specifically said that he was happy such a loyal fan wrote to him, but that he does not have time to play Ansem this time around.
That's true, there could be many reasons why he didn't do it.
BUT, that still doesn't change the fact that Billy Zane was the better Ansem. The ones who played Yuffie, Leon, and Aerith in KH1 should have come back as well. Yuffie sounds too American, and Aerith sounds like she's in a trance or something. The guy who did squall this time around was good, but the memory scene should have been done by the original.

I liked KH1 Xeanort's voice better than the KH2 voice, but more than that, they need to switch aeriths voices back. GOD, I never thought I would say this but mandy moore IS good at something: making aerith sound feminine without sounding emotionless.
