Best Horror Game you ever played?

What's the best horror game you've ever played or a game that wasnt meant for being a horror game but pretty scary anyway? I really loved playing
Fatal Frame 2. I've finished the game, but I havent finished it with the very last chapter yet.

Well, I love Eternal Darkness. It is not the best horror game out there, but it was really fun. The sanity meter can really make things great. Once, the entire screen went blank, I thought it was my game cube, but it wasn't- it was the game because the sanity meter was empty. LOL

Well, I tried the Clock Tower series recently, and that was pretty scary. At least for me it was scary. I also like the game Resident Evil Zero. It is the only Resident Evil game that I like so far. I have never tried a fatal frame or silent hill game.

Silent Hill 3 and Fatal Frame 2, i love those games to death. I never really liked the Resident Evil series because of the clunky interface and how it tries to force scares onto you, but i'm renting RE4 from GameFly and i'll see what its like when it comes in the mail.

I never really played any horror games. The only one I played and beat "It's one of thoes arcade game" is House of the Dead.

I'll add Silent Hill 4 to "Honorable Mentions" just starting the game made me need a new pair of undies, that scream when you just start playing made me jump 2 feet of my chair.

Resident Evil always made me jump when I was killed or a cut scene with the Zombies just appearing and killing.
