I always have trouble with these lists because I forget when the albums I liked were released.

Jake Bugg - Jake Bugg
Lana del Ray - Born to Die
Muse - The 2nd Law
Bloc Party - Four

Those are probably my favourites off the top of my head.

Soundtrack wise:

Shiro Sagisu - Rebuild of Evangelion 3.0
Ramin Djawadi - Game of Thrones (Season 2)
Yukari Hashimoto - Mawaru Penguindrum
Yoko Kanno - Sakamichi no Apollon
Yoshihisa Hirano - Hunter x Hunter

ugh, i listened to like zero new records this year. :c

but definitely beach house's bloom, and chromatics' kill for love. otherwise, i've just been rolling in singles (recently been really enjoying night panther, particularly their "two weeks" cover).

I didn't really buy many albums that were released this year. Though I LOVED Living Things by Linkin Park, it was so much better than ATS.

Two of the best albums that have come out. Too lazy to think of any other ones.

Bloc Party - Four

Weird how I heard almost nothing about this. So, it's good then?

For me:

good kid, m.A.A.d City - Kendrick Lamar
Channel Orange - Frank Ocean
2 - Mac Demarco
Kaleidoscope Dream - Miguel
Devotion - Jessie Ware

Perhaps A$AP Rocky's album too. Still haven't got the Beach House record yet (wtf) but I'm pretty sure it will be up there.

Also releases from some of my favourite artists:

Believe -Justin Bieber
Life is Good - Nas
Oceania - Smashing Pumpkins
Cruel Summer - Kanye & G.O.O.D Music

It's different to what I expected from their return.

I imagined it would be a bit more of a dancey record considering how well received Flux was and how Kele went off and did his solo album much like that. But it is good. Heavy in parts which was something I didn't expect.

But no. It's good. I enjoyed it at least.

That's good, I'll have a listen. I've always found it that Intimacy was so poorly received, when I thought it was quite a decent record (e.g. Ion Square is one of the best things they've ever done, for sure).
