Tips to beat Terranort?

So far I've learned deflecting his attacks, using counter hammer, and using range moves helps but I'm stuck

My commands:

Zantetsuken
Dark Haze
Firaga
Blizzardaga
Curaga
Thundaga
Mega-Potion (x3)
Zero Graviga

So Thundaga and Zero Graviga are useless, Dark Haze is kind of too. What Commands would be useful?

My deck was literally just 3 curagas and a bunch of Elixers and Ethers to fill up the Focus Gauge. It also helps to have Second Chance and Once more if you don't have them already.

Depends, he is easy on standard since i focus gauged him when he used meteor and used surges.

Get renewal barrier. That way, you can heal while you block his attacks.

Getting Renewal Block for sure, and I think I'll just Focus Gauge to do most of the damage.

Magic Hour-

Aeroga+ Barrier Surge + Pulsing Crystal = Second Chance

or

Zero Graviga + Blitz + Shimmering Crystal = Dark Screen

both will work, id go with the Dark Screen one since you probably already have second chance...

and there is time splicer, but it didn't really help me with him because he would just move out of the way and hit me

Renewal barrier is a must,
and keep that focus meter filled up. Otherwise, just stuff ur command deck with commands that do a lot of damage and fill up your concentration en perseverance gauge.

I beat him by beating the crap out of him..Blocking works alot on all his attacks... when he uses attacks you cant deflect use shot lock. I was level 34 on proud whith that startegy

Curaga/Esuna + Barrier for Aqua's Renewal Barrier.

Curaga/Esuan + Block for Terra and Ven's Renewal Block

To beat, you first grab your genitalia-
Oh, beat that guy, you kick his genitalia.

On a serious note, you spam a lot of powerful moves, and have Potions and Healing Spells.

I mostly just blocked his shotlocks, sent some back at him, and used counter hammer a few times as well.

My strategy:

Ok so for Shotlocks I'd recommend Photon Charge at this point in the game. If you have a better one by all means use it. As for commands don't even bother. The only commands I ever use in that fight would be cure commands. As others have said Renewal Block is excellent to have. For your strategy just stick with guarding then Counter Hammer. If I remember correctly, all of his attacks can be guarded. Even the meteors. For your keyblade just stick with Chaos Ripper

the deck i use for any boss is only 3 curagas, and i make sure to have like photon charge shotlock.
also the once more adn 2nd chance abilites are helpful, also leaf bracer.
with all that i just guard and counter.
