There would be no point to showing CoD in a movie. Before BBSFM we were led to believe worlds like it were outright destroyed, not existing within RoD. There is 1 reason & 1 reason only for bending that little detail: they need worlds to pad out the length of a game. A 2 hour movie wouldn't need any such padding.
