Zack Is a character from the Final Fantasy 7 universe but died before the events of Final Fantasy 7. He even has his own game Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core.

Whose this Zack or Zach guy Hercules had to face in BBS?

A character from the final fantasy universe just like Leon and the gang. In BBS he plays a similar role to that of Cloud in KH1 or Auron in KH2. He is originally under the control of Hades and then fights Terra. He is training under Phil just like Herc to become a hero. In the ending credits of the games we see him standing by the door way to the coliseum and then a black feather fall from the sky and hit the ground where Zack was standing. Where he went from here is unknown.
