In the fight against him in KH2FM, Terra's keyblade seems to contort to different shapes, guided by the handle. Maybe that's his way of summoning his keyblade as well.

You misread me.
Terra is not the secret boss from KHII:FM, it is the Lingering Sentiment.
It just looks like Terra... And uses the same weapon.
In fact, when Nomura was asked if Terra and the Lingering Sentiment were one and the same in an interview, he said it really did not matter. And not even in a *wink, wink* kinda way... Just a "I don't care, whatever you want" kinda way.

I personally would suggest not looking to deeply into this cause as of KH2 Every keyblade has diffrent way of forming. Also He's Only summoned it that way in one scene, He could have just been doing it as a demonstration of power.. Like When goku makes a kamehameha wave, sometimes he says "kamehameha" then shoots. Other times he just shoots

It was never stated, but it may be an implied sort of thing.
Well, wouldn't Star Seeker be his Keyblade?
Not to mention Mickey using Star Seeker in BBS, apparently when he was still Yen Sid's apprentice or something.

That's true. It takes longer than usual to summon in both instances in the trailer, though it could be just for dramatics. I just found this weird enough to want to mention. It just reminded me too much of the digital keyblade summon for comfort.

Personally, I kind of think this way to. Alternately, maybe Nomura's just working on the details a bit more and by that, I mean making the keyblade summons more varied or something. I mean, couldn't it just be a detail that was improved? I can see it spawning theories, but it just sounds like Nomura's/ Square's improving and varying the keyblade summons, nothing special.
