Sorry if this has been posted anywhere already, looked but didn't find anything, but..

Anyone else pumped for it? Comes out Tuesday!

I've been playing the demo and was in the PS3 beta and I must say that this is the TRUE online warfare experience, screw Modern Warfare 2, played that crap and bored with it in 2 weeks. raitohahaha

It really sucks though, MW2 gets 20x the hype that this game deserves.

I'm very sad they cancelled the online demo today. I'm a pretty good medic, not a good recon/sniper. I'm hoping to get the real game.

I have the first one and I can tell you this one is a vast improvement over the first one.

Destruction is better, buildings actually collapse
Weapon customization
Character specializations
Better graphics
More gametypes
More vehicles and weapons
Health actually regenerates (thank goodness)
No more stupid redneck gold hunting theme

Just to highlight a few of the major improvements.

If I were you, I would only play the first one only for the singleplayer story, since the 2nd continues with the same characters.

I was disapointed the demo ended today. I knew it would, though.

for anyone who had the demo, what was your best game? I myself had 44 kills and 9 deaths in my best game. (2 or 3 of my deaths were me commiting suicide on purpose) UAV ftw

I am going to get it ASAP. BC1 was possibly the best FPS I have palyed on ps3.

tried sniping, didn't like it that much.
I'm always medic or engineer

Health actually regenerates (thank goodness)

DICE confirmed that health doesn't regenerate.

EDIT: well nvm, it does slowly

I'm like god on the battlefield when I start healing people. Plus, the PKM is my kind of gun. If you need your butt saved, don't blink, or else you might miss me.

The mutliplayer demo itself is fun enough for me to want to own the game, but at full price or immediately after release? The quality of the campaign might define how and when I approach buying it.

Played the closed beta before Christmas, played the demo recently. Loved both. Loved the closed beta more because you could actually level up. Was like rank 18 before they wiped everything. Would get this game if I hadn't have spent all of my moneys on the magnificence that is Heavy Rain.

I'm that annoying UAV hog on your team. All apaches fall at the hands of my RC helicopter. one match, I blew up 3 apaches with my missiles before they took off, shot down 3 apaches, and made 2 apaches commit suicide. Of course, we lost though because my team losts all of it's credits.

I disagree. Although I think the single-player will be great, Battlefield has always been known for and focused on multiplayer over the years. It will be far better in MW2 imo. Each NEW copy of the game comes with a code to download 2 new DLC multiplayer maps for free also. I love DICE.

Call of duty and battlefield are both known for their strong multiplayers and I thought mw2 is more fun. The single player is unimportant to most people in these games.

I'm going to buy this game. It looks really great. Hopefully I won't not disappointed. I'm sure I'll still be playing MW2 more, though.
