Nobody names, yes, granted, but the original six are the only ones whose Somebody names have been released, and some of the later ones don't have a lot of choices. Saix? Asi? Isa? Ais? Luxord is taken from Luxor in Vegas, Axel's got wheels--the others probably have connections to other things that I'm not picking up on, but I'm not spotting any specific Somebody names jumping out. If you're not gonna use them, why bother thinking them up in the first place? I'm just really boggled at this unshakeable faith in everything Squaresoft. KH is a great series, yes, but there ARE discrepancies or shortcomings here and there and there are GOING to be more as the plot grows unchecked like a garden weed. And it's not being mean or malicious to accept them, talk them over, and look for answers.

Most of the names make sense, Luxord is wrong though, Luxor would still keep the X, so I doubt that's correct, not to mention that Nomura doesn't seem like he would name a character off of a Casino in Las Vegas :laugh:

I'm not saying that's his Somebody's name, I'm saying Luxord is Luxor with a D. I'm not the person who spotted that but I don't recall who did, and the fact that he's a gambler and Luxor is a casino seems a little much of a coincidence.

he's just saying that luxord's nobody name was inspired by luxor, not that his somebody name actually is it:glare:. besides, everybody knows that his somebody name wouldn't have an X in it. that's just common sense (at least, for anybody who's played this series before). at any rate, the only real name for luxord that i can think of is dolur (like, dollar). it makes sense as he was so greedy, going after all that gold from port royal and everything. and if it is true, then it would be funny if demyx's name is dyme, (dollar and dime:idea because then they would both be types of money:laugh:.

Uhm, yes. A few of the Org. Members were based off of classes from FF.

Zexion- Black Mage
Demyx- Bard
Larxene- Ninja
Luxord- Gambler
Saix- Berserker

And I think one other person is based off of the Theif class.

Marluxia's name actually originated from lumaria, which is a type of flower; very fitting for our botanical friend.

Axel's between two wheels, Marluxia's inspired off a flower, Demyx may have a connection to tortoises--it's not too far-fetched. Also, I never said that was his Other's name, I'm not that new at this; only that it bears a striking resemblance.

I prefer thinking of Larxene's other as Relena. The letters move more and it has a different sound. Plus Relena sounds like an okay gal, which would be the exact opposite and thus a fine dramatic foil. XD

okay....... where did nomura say that axel's somebody's name is Ale? or is that just a fan made name? send me the link to an interview where he actually says that, then i'll let off of this idea forever. im not saying that the "name + x" rule is bad, but having 2 x's in your name would totally suck. The rule never stated what would happen if there was an x already in their name, so i just thought of alex. it actually makes more sense then ale. what if you were named ale?

btw, i think larxene's original name is arlene, it makes the most sense. just my idea. as for demyx, i like demy better. luxord, i could care less about...........
