Axel's a dusk?

I don't know if this would be a spoiler
In Kh2 when roxas meets axel by the usual place he says "we are best friends" and axel says "sure but im not getting turned into a dusk for.." (most likely he was gonna say you) so what exactly has to happen for you to become a dusk? Do you have to lose your heart protecting someone or something along those lines?
Becasue if so does that mean there is a chance of axel comming back if he was turned into a dusk helping sora?

What he meant was that Xemnas was gonna turn him into a simple Dusk, instead of him being the Nobody we all know. But he killed himself, so theres no way he can return as a Dusk.

Since Axel is a renegade Xemnas keeps him on a leash. And when he doesnt follow orders Xemnas treatens to turn him into a dusk a lesser nobody.

Except in CoM Axel was thought killed too, he seems to be good at faking a death, and he might have done so again.

To become a Dusk, a person without a strong heart gets his/her heart stolen by a heartless. The leftover body become a low level Nobody without retainin a form similar to it's human form. However if someone with a strong heart's get his heart stolen then his leftover body may retain a form similar to it's human form and be able to speak and use it's memories to simulate emotions and to SIMULATE a heart. But of course their goal is still to become a whole being again and so to find their true hearts.

Each Organization member is based off one of the regular Nobodies. Xigbar is based off the sniper Nobodies, Xaldin is based off that dragon nobody with the lance, Luxord is based off that Nobody with the cards, etc etc etc Heck, theres even a Nobody for Roxas, the Samaurai Nobodies. The Org member thats based off a certain Nobody also cammands that Nobody (ex. Xigbar commands the sniper Nobodies, Xaldin commands the Dragoons, Roxas commands the Samaurais etc) I think that Axel is based off of and commands the Dusks. This is why whenever Axel appeared in the virtual Twilight Town, he was always with the Dusks. This and what he said about becoming a Dusk may have an unknown connection, don't ya think?

Also, you have it backwards, the nobodies were based on the org members, not the other way around.

i thought Axel controlled the dancer nobodires and amrluxia controled the assassin nobodies, i mean marluxia is called the graceful assassin and axel is called the something dancer

That is the same thing i was thinking maybe he faked his own death.
Same with me Marluxia is the graceful assassin but then again Axel was sent to kill Zexion and Vexen plus he also betrayed Marluxia and them all.
