Axel kills Xion

I still believe Axel should have been kept out of this. Unless Nomura has placed a good, well damn excuse about why Axel was always on Roxas, the "only one he liked", as well as in the Novels, with no existence of Xion anywhere, for now, I'd say Axel didn't give a damn for her to leave such a impression on him to be all emo by. I mean, this does have to be somehow connected to the future, and future Axel has only Roxas as his friend, and BFF. They can't exactly take that back.

I'm getting a feeling like a lot of things are really impulsive. I mean, we had Namine, who came right out of left field, and then KH1 turned out to be practically meaningless (Mickey: It wasn't Ansem, lol! Sora: D<), not to mention Final Mix always screws around with stuff (like the part about thanking Namine thrown arbitrarily into the Xemnas battle).

Cold hard truth? I'd say Nomura's making this up as he goes along. Expect sweeping changes.

He looks like they're having a painful discussion, similar to the one he had with Roxas in FM+. And I suspect the distance between them has to do with Roxas not being there; he sits between them. Maybe it's just tradition and they don't leave their spots...?

In any case, if Axel killed Xion, he was under orders. They're too close for him to make that decision on his own, and if Roxas is closer to Xion (the way it looks) he'd probably be careful with her for Roxas's sake. Either way, you could hear the pain in his voice when he shouted "You gotta be kidding me!" And just because he said he'd take his best shot doesn't mean he finished the job--Axel's got a history of losing to Keymasters.

agh i think roxas was sitting there earlier but had to leave early because of some mission or just left to get ice cream or SOMETHING so thats why the gap is there.. he was probably there earlier but left.
this is the best thread iv seen so far actually..
i think axel and roxas where just sent to LOOK for xion and bring her back to org.13 so that if she does somehow fuse with sora, sora wont wake up and their plan will work.. but kill her? i hope that doesnt happen..but its possible.. riku probably had some part in presuading xion to leave though... because if xion is somehow related to sora waking up and kairi then of course riku will care a lot for her.. so he probably persuades her into leaving..and xion probably talk about it with axel and roxas or just roxas so then roxas gets ideas about leaving hence kh2.
the thing about axel fighting xion i hope was an act or something..but it sure did sound serious.. i think since the pod is in the mansion where the fighting scene is in front of..i think its a crucial fight..axel and roxas probably relize it means a lot to xion to go back or something so they let her go.?? iuno but im not in the mood to organize my little theories and statements

i guess it may have not been an act and the thing about their positions on where they where standing makes sense too
but i think maybe they where being watched because like its sort of like in crisis core how director lazard was watching zack and angeal on the wutai mission:X

If Axel was being watched, I doubt he'd get that emotional (he wouldn't want to be seen that way when he didn't have to be). It would have to be a desperate situation.

It looks to me a lot more like Xion and Axel are just plain at odds over something, and Axel's the errand boy who drags people back to the Organization or back into darkness depending on how it happens.

BTW, am I the only one who gets an extreme urge to scream out a Harry Potter spoiler whenever I see the title of this thread? XD

If Axel was being watched, I doubt he'd get that emotional (he wouldn't want to be seen that way when he didn't have to be). It would have to be a desperate situation.

He's definitely not as good. But the battle in OotP? EPIC.

Anyway, to get back on topic--I'm wondering what Xion's motivation is for running away. We know Roxas is after information on the Keyblade; is Xion after the same thing, or just wants to know who she is, or...? She says she wants to be "with two people," but running away from Axel and Roxas seems somewhat counterproductive.

hmm maybe her motive was like riku telling her? idk.. i wish that the 'two people' where axel and roxas..but what if she's talking about sora and kairi? or like sora and riku? that would suck though D:
i think the fact that she is connected to sora and kairi in some way means a lot to her since shes a nobody and even though her goal isnt to be whole its to know who she is...maybe she wants to know who her somebody is..so then riku persuades her to help him+DiZ+Nami to help Sora awaken and she thinks it may help her know...
