Ok maybe I am going out on a limb here but thing about it, and since we really dont know where he is from any way yall dont get to be stupid and flame me.

I believe that Riku has a Nobody, he lost his heart to a heartless and he is still arround which means that his heart was strong enough to survive.

What if Axel was Rikus Nobody. I mean it really makes sense after you think about it. The way he got along with Roxas Soras Nobody, wanting to kinda protect Namine who was Kairi's Nobody. What if Axel was indeed Riku's Nobody. I mean other then the few times you fought him in COM he didnt try to hurt you in Kh2, he just wanted to make Sora a Heartless so he could see Roxas again.
So I think that Axel is Rikus Nobody.

dude.i thought that exact same thing but i never had the guts to post it.lolalso his personality gos along with rikus just fine like when he jumped in on the nobodys and that little speech after was something riku would say.

It kinda makes sense, except for a few things.

Riku never lost his heart. He had his body taken over by Xehanort, but he has never been a heartless.

Axel's name doesn't fit. I thought it was a basic rule for your name to be an anagram+X of your previous name.

Wouldn't Ael be able to weild a keyblade too? Since Riku could weild a keyblade?

GUYS! for all we know Axel forgot his real name. Like Xemnas, which should be Xehanort+another X. But then I don't believe what I just said either. Axel doesn't even wield a sword, which is what the keyblade is basically like.

Ok but here is another perfect point.
Axel never really fit in with the others of the Orginization.
The name thing obviously isnt a must because exp
Xemnas= Xehanorts Nobody
Namine=Kairi's Nobody.

And Riku did loose his heart to a heartless but he was strong enough not to become one which is what creates a nobody. And he had to have lost it otherwise he would not have been on the other side of the door to kingdom hearts.
Mickey went there of his own free will to find the Keyblade of the Dark Realm.
So I would say its verry possible.
And about the Age thing, how does a nobody have an age if the dont exist therefore the age thing goes right down the toilet.
I think it could at least be a possibility. Besides you others arent sure your selfs where he comes from whos to say one hundred percent that I am wrong?

Well i think i remember hearin in the game dat "Nobodys Dont Age" so i guess their stuck in the form their in, as for ontopic.

It cant be seeing how Riku was never a heartless, lets just say Possessed by "Ansem"(Xehanort). And Axel, i think personoly his orginal name was Alex.

First thing, there was a different hair color, Axel could not wield the Keyblade, Riku never lost his heart, and Axel is wayy older than Riku with a different voice. And the name is different. Just so you know...

But actually Relik (by the way your sig is funny) Kairi had a Nobody but never lost her heart to the Heartless. So there are certain loopholes in that theory. Yen Sid didn't explain it very well in the beginning of the story.

Right!! I also thought the exact same thing, but then I tried taking the "X" out of Axel and rearranging the letters, and obviously, it doesn't spell Riku. But you're right, there personalities are very similar.
