I have an idea that this will end up like the recently released Dragon Ball film. :(

I think M. Night Shyamalan is a good director and I think he'll do good with the film. The only aspect of the film I'm worried about is the people who he cast to play the roles. To me, they look nothing like the animated characters.

omg the cast is AWFUL!! :23:

I'm not gonna go into the whole race thing, because in my opinion that doesnt really matter, because its a cartoon taking place in a made up world where the races arent the same as in real life.
But the cast is downright awful. I gues I shouldnt say this before the movie comes out, but going by looks and age, its awful.
I like Jackson Rathbone, but he is waaaaayyy too old to play Sokka o_O
Dev Patel's a really good actor, going by Slumdog Millionare, but he's just not Zuko. At all.
When i type Noah Ringer (Aang) into google, the only picture that comes up is of a girl. UHHHHHM, what the heck?
I have a feeling this movies going to be really cheesey. I guess I'll have to see it before judging it though.

This might be a picture of him. He's like, what...10? By the time they finish the trilogy, he'll be 16.

At least this isn't that old so i would call it a childhood memory, so i don't really care what they'll do with this. I saw maybe a few minutes of the anime, but it didn't really look that interesting.

They butchered Dragon Ball so I can only imagine what they'll do to the Avatar.

Lmao aww man, Aang looks seriously like a little gay kid. But even though he does look younger than the series character, at least he seems to fit the role a little better from what I've read.

At least Zuko doesn't look that bad.

First Look: M. Night Shyamalan's The Last Airbender Movie

Dev Patel for the role of Zuko wasn't a good choice - in my opinion. First of all, the director didn't even try to make Patel look like Zuko. I'm sure Patel can handle the role with his acting talent. But as for portraying the character physically, no.

The only reason Dev got the role is because of Slumdog Millionaire.

Slumdog who wins millions =/= dis-honoured prince who shoots fire.

I bet this will look cheesy since it does have minor similarities with DB. At least i never cared about this show.

hey look, it's Collin Ferell when he was 10 and his infamous bullseye tatoo on his forehead.
