Honestly, this casting is one of the better signs for this show as they seem to be sticking to the original ages and at least aren’t whitewashing. (I have seen some colorism comments about Katara, but I think people are looking at this one picture of the actress that has particularly bright lighting and thinking that’s her actual skin tone.)

The upcoming ‘AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER’ films will use CG animation.

Joan Hilty joins Avatar Studios as Executive Editor.
It is worth noting though that Joan Hilty is (at least from what I gather on her website) an editor of comics, books, and illustrated materials rather than tv shows and movies. So she will probably not be involved in the animated content that much.

Depending on the style they use for the CG, I could see it working out, considering there’s othe anime being made with CGI. Hopefully it’ll be more like Land of the Lustrous/Beastars or Spider-Verse and less Berserk(2016)
Tomorrow is the release of the KYOSHI NOVELS BOX SET. Nothing unusual, the two novels re-released and bundled in a box but it comes with some brand new content! For some reason when you're looking at online store like Amazon for the Kyoshi Box Set they make no mention of such content in the description, despite that information being present in the spine of the box set and as well the botton of the box.

Square Enix London in collaboration with Navigator Games are developing a mobile ATLA game.

The mobile aspect has me hesitant, but it would be cool if this opened the door for a possible full fledged console game set in the universe.
This dude was Sato in LoK and the asshole general from ATLA! His credentials are perfect for the role.

The Legend of Korra Book Four: Balance - The Art of the Animated Series second edition & deluxe version, coming June 21st, 2022. This new edition features a new forward by Asami Sato voice actor Seychelle Gabriel, rounding out the Krew after Janet Varney (Korra) did Book 1, P. J.
