the concept of attacks that strike a hundred times have been around since forever in asian martial arts

Saw the E3 demo. The game is one big QTE, definitely the work of Cyber Connect.

The boss fights are gonna be QTEs galore, but from the few shots we've seen of Asura fighting normal enemies the rest of the game is safe. But this game's QTEs...they're just so high octane and over the top....it's hard to find it annoying. Just the way this game presents itself, it's taking a tired formula and somehow making it feel...fresh. And badass.

Recently watched the trailers. Honestly, I'm surprised it's already in the localization process. I thought when I heard Liam O'Brian voicing Asura I was like "Oh god no. He doesn't fit it at a-" and then when he's like "YOU TALK TOO MUCH!" I was like alright never mind this is great. Thought I'd just bump up this thread t
But yeah uh, like I thought, CyberConnect did a terrible job with syncing the voices. That's always been a gigantic problem with them for me. Random thread bump I guess, I dunno.

This game is really looking VERY NICE.

Word arrived yesterday via Famitsu about an upcoming demo for Asura's Wrath. Capcom has since made formal announcement of the demo, complete with screens and specifics.

As detailed yesterday, the demo will be based off the Tokyo Game Show demo. It will include the game's fifth and eleventh chapters. While these are the same chapters from the TGS version, the new demo will include extra drama scenes and actions.

Look for the demo on January 10 on both PS3 and Xbox 360. Asura's Wrath sees final Japanese release on February 23.
