No, vaporing is way less unhealthy than regular smoking. - and also doesn't hurt the people around you.
You just shouldn't vape on high temperatures because of the formaldehyde that could build up which is toxic. Main problem is that there is not enough data about vaping since it only became a trend in the mid 2000's.

That's interesting! I talked with one of my earlier caregivers, she had a husband that was an avid smoker. She tried vaporing with him but he didn't take well to it. Oh well!

I've been trying to get into vaping zero nicotine liquid recently, but I also have asthma. Do you think this could end up affecting my health in a bad way?

Inhaling nicotine and smoke will affect your health negatively regardless of how you ingest it, asthma especially.

Well, maybe I should have phrased that better xD I was just wondering if you think vaping's going to be really bad for asthma specifically?
It's not as bad as cigarettes but it's still harmful, that's all I really dug up on it.

Has second smoke been discussed yet? I actually grew up a lot with it and I also saw some guy smoking outside of Walmart the other day. The smell was pretty morbid.

I'm very conscious about passive smoking. I dislike smoking in public areas where there's a lot of people just walking by. It's why I've to appreciate designated smoking areas a lot.

My stepdad used to be one of those people that thought smoking PSAs were persecuting smokers. I would imagine that he would think that smokers should smoke wherever they want, especially since he used to fling his cigarettes out of the window while driving.

Yeah, I'm a smoker. On one hand I wish I never started, but on the other hand I do enjoy a cigarette in the morning and after dinner (or when consuming alcohol).

I'll quit someday. Now's not the time.

What do you think of smoking PSAs?

I haven't actually seen that many aside from a few from my home country. Some of them are pretty ridiculous, but some of them are rational and don't rely on scare tactics and usually offer help to quit smoking. Generally I think that educating is the best way of having a conversation about something, forcing people to do something never works. And neither do scare tactics. We recently got those pictures on cigarette packs to "help" people to quit smoking, but it doesn't work at all. Now they're implementing a system where places that sell cigarettes won't be able to show packs on display anymore, they're locked behind a shelf door- they thought of this so teenagers wouldn't be attracted to all the colours of the packs. Since it's pretty new and not everyone's doing it yet we're not sure if it's working, but I think it's a good start.

But ultimately I think that if people want to quit smoking, they'll do so of their own accord.

This is the best one tbh.

It's probably better than that rap song that I heard on the radio back in Roanoke, which was a PSA done in rap. It went something like, "Smoking ain't cool! Smoking' ain't cool! Never let anybody tell ya..." (I forgot the rest of the the lyrics).

Full House also had a cringe-worthy joke where Danny was talking to DJ or Stephanie about smoking. He said, "If I wanted to smoke then I would have put my face into a grill" or something along those lines.

Im definitely a smoker, but not as bad as I used to be.

I used to smoke a pack pack and a half a day, cut down to half a pack and can make 3 packs last me a week or so.

My opinion, I wish I never started... I don't them, I can me a royal pain, get headaches, irritable, and all that fun stuff. Plus its a lot harder to just be like yeah I don't want to do this anymore...

Know the feel, dude. I just seem to get headaches more these days, and feel sick. More sick than when I started, really. I can be okay with quantity I smoke though in some manners. I've been able to go a week without smoking, and even then, I went to a party where I drank and wanted one. I hope after the party on Saturday to just cut back outright.

No. I tried it once, didn't like it. No one really likes their first, but they do it socially enough until they build up an addiction. I tried it on my own once, it just didn't wasn't for me, also I had gone all of my life not smoking, maybe that too was enough to push me off of attempting to enjoy it.
