Easily the worst world in the game in my opinion. Maybe I was burnt out from hours of playing but I just found it so boring. The Ice Labyrinth was a terrible filler area too.

The ending was really weird too. It kinda just cuts off. No goodbyes or anything like usual.

They also missed an opportunity for an ice skating/hockey minigame, js.

It really was the most disappointing world. Though I have a feeling that it might be connected to the fact that the team had the most restrictions regarding this world?

Since your movements are upgraded post-cavern, I don't really mind climbing the mountain again since it goes fast. It helps that the world follows Monstropolis and 100 Acre Wood, which give you a break from all the outdoor slogging. I liked the race down the mountain; reminded me of a better version of the honey-searching Pooh minigame from KH2.

There are things I really wish they'd done--especially some of the town area, now that you mention it--but I enjoyed it...? I was already resigned to the fandom seething over this world anyway because Frozen is nonstop bashed online.

It became really apparent that not all Disney worlds were created equal. Arendelle isn't the worst world in the game, because it wasn't the hate crime that was 100 Acre Wood (100 Foot Garden?). Still, there are, like 1 and a half memorable locations from the film and we got none of them. How does that happen?

It was very clear that Disney pushed for this world's inclusion because money, and Square obliged because money, but I have a hunch Nomura would have been fine ditching it for something else.

At least the gnomes didn't make the cut.

Also, I have a theory that Larxene didn't make the labyrinth but Vexen prepared it beforehand and she took the credit, merely transporting Sora & co there.

Also also, "I saved Anna and found out I can control my powers through love! But hyuck you Arendelle, eternal winter for gameplay's sake!".
This world was just sloppy (at best).

Personally I actually LIKED the ice labyrinth , because it reminded me of the more dungeon-like areas in KH1 like Hollow Bastion.

Marshmallow was amazing as a party member, I just wish you got him sooner in the world. By the time you do it's almost done.

I'm also thankful Let it Go wasn't a minigame lol.

I think they omitted the town on purpose, because we already have Corona, Twilight Town, Thebes, Port Royal, and San Fransokyo as places with "towns". Not every world needed it lol. Not like there would've been much to do there anyway.

My only gripe with Arendelle is Hans not speaking or fightable. The wolf heartless was an amazing boss fight though. In fact most of the game's bosses are crazy epic.

I knew the world was going to be the worst one since the reveal, it looked so empty.

I agree.

I liked Marshmallow as a party member just fine (and I loved him/her as a boss), but I still think Anna and Kristoff should've been party members. What they should've done is make them temporarily your party members while you're searching around for Olaf / escorting them to Elsa, so that they're there when the world is done and you return. Really weird that they aren't playable, imo; just as weird as Rapunzel vanishing never to return at the end of Corona, even though Flynn went with her in the film and she should be able to leave the castle any time she likes...

I had absolutely no idea why Hans didn't say a word. How was he infected with darkness? And worse of all neither of the characters acknowledged or thanked Sora, Donald, and Goofy in the end .

I was enjoying Frozen all the way up until the end. Everything just kind of fell apart.

I actually loved this world as well, I loved the music and setting. I loved climbing up the mountain and the ice labyrinth reminded me of old school dungeons. I also loved Marshmallow as a party member.

I'm glad they set up at the end that this isn't the last we will see of Arendelle. And I get the feeling that's why they omitted so many things from it so I imagine another trip to Arendelle will feature plotlines from Frozen 2.

I think this was my least enjoyed world. It was pretty. Fun to explore. But something was just... missing. Just like the movie itself. I had hopes maybe KH would kinda fix it. Fill in whatever the movie was missing to make it whole. But... it just retreaded the movie plot with nothing new or vital added.

It wasn’t the best world, but I don’t think it was the worst.

Nomura said this world had the most rules set by Disney, so the fact that the trolls were missing and all of the other story stuff could’ve been out of his and the team’s control.

It would’ve been nice to be able to explore Elsa’s palace though. And yeah, the Olaf scavenger hunt was the worst!

That scavenger hunt confused the living crap out of me, honestly had no idea what to do for 5 minutes. I caved and watched a video online on what to do.

They could also be saving room for the inevitable return of Frozen in KH4. Cause we all know it's gonna come back.

And when the original organization members met for a quick conversation with Xemnas she completely stole the show. She's the best.

Anyways what was up with Anna talking right over her snowman song? If you're going to play a song let me listen to it. How awkward.

Were these restrictions the reason SDG(and maybe Larxene to an extent) felt so disconnected and isolated from the plot and characters? If Arendelle returns in KH4 I fear it will have similar problems

This was the most puzzling thing to me, I remember that being the first thign I went to investigate after beating the world. The interesting thing is that you can walk right up to the door and on the mini-map there is even detail there but you can't go in.

Also, In that same area, I found it weird how you can go into what looks like a cave but then transition into a previous landscape area - I was hoping for a post-game dungeon I guess.

But the world was not my favourite but then nor is the source material (I went into it with an open mind) but I do appreciate it's verticality in level design. I also do like the jingly upbeat theme, even if it sort of contradicts the harsh environment.
