Easier? I guess its easier, but its more annoying and the science is difficult to me. Plus, the SAT is a lot more fun. SAT is longer than the ACT, but I actually wanted to kill myself during the ACT.

SB, you should know that the SAT has changed. The highest score used to be 1600 but now its 2400.

Your ACT has science? Funny, in my ACT there is only reading, english, and math, but no science. And how can you say that the SAT is more fun, I find that hard to believe, I absolutely hate sitting in the classroom for six straight hours without a break mind you, and see that I had to repeatedly skip questions just because(even if I saw them before), its hard to figure out. I never took Calculus before and seeing them in the SAT just kills me. I only took the SAT twice and never did it again, but I still ended in college anyway. About the score, I never really knew the high score, thanks for telling me, even if I'm never talking the SAT again. Sorry for the ranting...:cursing:

Guess that makes you an old timer. :p

The science part sucks, just because it has nothing to do with actual science. I remember one time I fell asleep during that part.

As for the SAT, I took them right before they made the change to the newer one, so I was still stuck with those crappy analogies.

You mean there's science now!? Wow...the world I grew up in is no more.

Analogies is like the only easy part in the SAT, hands down.

I found some blogs from students who are going to the schools I'm looking at. They're all really nice. They make me want to ignore bad stereotypes.

Well, SMU has stereotypes. I've heard nothing but sunshine about TU, however, their responsive-ness is very bad right now! >O

Ah yes the college application process, such a pain. By the way the essay on the SAT is still in an experimental stage meaning that it isn't as important as Math and Verbal most schools don't count them yet (I'm not sure about class of 2008), 2000's do look good on applications though. Well what I can say is to be persistent, don't just send in the application and wait for them, make it so that they at least recognize your name, it will make the post-acceptance process easier.

I almost forgot, try and get this stuff out of the way in JUNIOR YEAR! It will make senior year alot easier.
