from the sounds of it, the darkloids have been around before the explosion but for void's fist, the metahumans were a direct result of of the explosion since it cuase the cloud that mutated them. sorry if i inturrpeted wrong

i think it was more of months combined with strong power hungery indervduials but i think grandswords the only one that can really answer that question. but also think of this. there are beings like darloids out there, who normal humans dont wont. regular people could think metahumans are just another darkloid and thus, the metahumans get attacked. so theres also self preservation in there too

your actually quite right, the void's fist was organized due to a general assumption by the government that those changed by the voidstone cloud would end up devolving into darkloids, this assumption led to massive discrimination against metahumans, which caused the formation of the void's fist, a group of metahumans wishing to secede from nations that discriminate against them and form their own nation, solely for their own kind

Appearance:
Kael: In some ways he takes on the typical stereotypes for someone with Irish blood. This is mostly with his pale skin and deep blue eyes. Other than that is a group of things that are not really attached to Irish blood. Take his hair for example. While most would expect him to have either brown or blond hair, the fact remains that his is a deep black, almost to the point that it would stand out in shadows. Other than that is his figure. It's not common for those from Ireland to have a slim figure either, but he's somehow managed to push aside his genetic craving for unhealthy foods like carbs. It's that and the constant exercise that he underwent that granted him a slim figure with obvious signs of being pushed to the limits and beyond.

Weapons and equipment (if any):

Phase Shift Blades: These items are simply shaped as a hilt for some form of bladed weaponry. When activated Kael is capable of controlling the length and even style of the blade. Because of this it is never really certain what type of blade he will use when he pulls the two out. As for the blades themselves, they are unique in that they use particles found in the air to create solid matter that vibrates at a high frequency so that they are capable of cutting through almost any material. It's because of this that they are considered superior to antique blades.

Portable Launcher: A fairly recent weapon issued to military persons as a standard side-arm. The weapon comes equipped with the same operating system as the Phase Shift Blades in that it uses particles in the air to construct ammunition. But because of this rapid fire is limited. Of course, that's in the low velocity form. In this form it looks like a normal pistol equipped with a small electromagnetic rail that fires the material. However, it does come equipped with a high velocity mode. When this mode is engaged the sides fan out to form what appears to be a crossbow. In this form the ammunition is thinner to allow less drag, but because of the length it takes just a small amount of time longer to form the objects. In this form the ammunition is launched at a speed that allows it to easily puncture steel plated armor.

Organici Tempus: The ability to manipulate the chronotons in organic matter. The only drawback is that he must establish physical contact with the person if he is the manipulate the time of the body. Effect is also limited to the area that he touches.

Don't worry. Something like that would take a bit of time. Plenty of time to punch him with a hand, or even shoot him. It all depends on the circumstances.
