Ansem/DiZ/Xehanort... huh?!

I am VERY confused about what happened with Ansem and DiZ and Xehanort and Ansem the Wise and everything... can someone explain please? :blush: Since school started I can't really play through the game again, and there's a lot of theories about the new games centered around Ansem etc.

Eh... Xehanort was Ansem the Wise's apprenitce, before he and the others betraied him and sent Ansem away...
Xehanort then split into Ansem (H) and Xemnas...
Ansem then threw away his name and changed it to DiZ...
DiZ then did everything in his power to stop Xemnas, which led to his death by the machine overloading...

ok lets break it down for the new guy

Ansem the Wise was DiZ and died when the heartless machine exploded

Xehanort became a nobody and a heartless so his heartless was the ansem from KH1
his nobody was Xenmas(mansex) the leader of org.XIII.

If AtW wasn't dead we would know it becuase if he wasn't then why would he decide to disappear just like that? what would be the point?
