Creating bonds to save our world and bring peace
I issue a challenge to anyone or any number of people. I'll come up with the ideas for the battle. You know Arena, and such. I'm thinking Low - Mid power but, you can choose whatever level. I have no problem with any level of power. I want to have a fight so good that Rpers will start looking at this place again and get back into it. I remember when the Battle Section had a heavy amount of posts.

This is the kind of fight I mean when I saw Low power. There isn't much magic being thrown around here. Well from what you can see. It is mainly melee combat mixed with their superhuman natures.

This is what I mean by mid. There is magic flying around but not too much that they could level a city with. Still reliance on the physical is more on the forefront.

Name - Legan "Gula" The Armored Hide
Age - Time in Perspective to its onlookers
Date of Birth - June 1

Personality - "Knowledge is also food I can eat. Brain food. Yay, aha."- Gula
A true myriad of what one can observe from afar. Though, in truth there is a self-titled array that fits the mysticism of his demeanor. Gula is a very down to earth and calm person with an appetite for casual conversation and the company of others. Very cool and polite, level headed and the rational as well as artsy demanor that he carries like a lampshade.

Incredibly bright, astute, as well as he is a diplomatic mind. The author of poems, creative brothel of the knights, he's poised and dutiful at all times. Traits seemed to pour and seep into every fiber of his body. Though couthful and well spoken, he's a sucker for a slight lax and lenient nature to his appetite for many different tastes. Needless to say, Gula loves a variety of foods, especially sampling sweets.

Tedious as he's a passionate consumer. Aside from a ridiculous food lust, almost heinous is an appetite for knowledge. Learning, as if his brain is what eat. This puts a various contrast in intellect between himself and his peers amongst the knights. Usually found with a book or food, it is the great interpreter of Gula's 'state of mind' knowing if he's hungry or plotting something.

Personal views and beliefs come with the price of believing. Now given he's got such an open mind, he doesn't cling to single belief other than this. His personal set of morals followed by unrequited chivalry. With his nonchalant demeanor often interrupted with lapses of focus and demanding more attention, he coincides and gets serious.

Appearance -
Sleek, slim, and as refined in attire as he is smoothed out in personality. A man with the lightest weight, of one hundred of fifty-seven pounds, a full height of six foot one. A build that is slim, toned in several areas, namely upper body and abdomen regions. The fixations of a stoic and unmoving complexion. His eyes are two white pools that drown his dim, gray pupil. The slick of his flit of hair seems to move, spiked all on its own, and its ghostly white ridges are to be admired.

Opening the aperture of his rather casual appearance, taking into consideration his jacket's streaks shatter his 'monochrome' look, creating his 'echo-chrome' like manifesto. Gula bare's a liking for jeans, and a chain that dangles from the back of the left pocket. Not tough, but fashioned to fit an image.

Weapon of Choice
Inanitas Grimoire -
A book that Legan carries around, and usually uses a bookmark to hold his page and place. The book admittedly is his prime and proud achievement as it manifests from its pages, blades that dangle, cut, and carve through even elegance and grace. Similar to how paper can be bent and manipulated in shape, the blades possess the similar malleability and can also be sharpened, repaired, and summoned in a chained effort.

[Fragment Power]
Immovable Block - "The Nigh Impregnable Defense"

Immovable block is what belongs specifically to Gula. It is what is known as his passive ability to project at first what seems like a form of abjuration where he calls forth a means of defense. Simple of course, it appears to coat like a wall of shells which take the shape of tightly knit threaded squares or cubes. Said cubes are what line against any surface, namely Gula at all times, meaning he can thwart physical damage as well as buffer fragment power when struck. Because he hardly ever takes damage to an extent he has to worry about physical harm or even pain, its dubbed 'immovable'.

He can alter the size of individual cubes indefinitely, from a grandiose size to infinitesimal where he can't see yet can sense their locations. More specifically, creating the actual cubes within themselves is where the complexity seems to extend. In containing highly dangerous enemies, Gula layers his blocks to such an extent its as if they're boxed in within another box, within another box. Upon shattering one, does it reform rapidly, meaning to escape lets say a level forty-seven barrier they could have to collapse all forty-seven simultaneously.

Also the space and physical intersection inside of a block is...different. The space is isolated from the outside, so essentially the reality is a bit different. Attempting a move like teleporting outside said block is ineffective, the reason being the opening of a hole in space is 'flattened' bringing them back through a wall from within and still very much contained inside the block itself.

Capturing - "I captured a bear once...she was Superbia..."

As the name implies. Basic capturing, its where Gula projects his hand and creates a cube fitting the size of the area no matter how large to box opponents in. Needless to say, the larger the cube, the weaker the restraints, the tighter space and smaller the cube the more impervious the defense. However, he can create a multitude of barriers forging them all at the sametime, in layers with a tiny-iota in differentiation when it divvies down to the resilience of the next level-block.

Shrinking/Expanding - "This reminds me of better times...if I had them."

Apart of capturing someone at close quarters, within a range of about fifteen meters, the pull of the blocks ties within 'their' individual linear space. Essentially the geometric term known as 'transforming' where the size is altered. Inside the cube at this range, Gula can shrink or expand whatever is contained within a cube. He's displayed this by holding a basketball in his hands before, blocking it, then shrinking that block forcing the basketball to shrink. Given the strength of the barrier is stronger the smaller it gets, there is no escaping a shrink, but an expansion (which he never uses upon immediate capture) results in a weakened field. However, he can implement several tiny blocks to forge a larger one, making the large block composed of fragments as equally fortified as a miniature block.

Coding/Coating - "Its like punching an armored truck right? Amirite?"

Coating in layman's terms is what Gula does upon himself in terms of creating that active defense. Where his body is lined from every inch with invisible blocks, more so light is being refracted and they go unseen. He makes the shells on his person as tiny as possible, needlessly to say his defense is strongest when he's fighting hand to hand, and landing a blow does ALMOST nothing, yet being under a constant strain will show signs of and distribute fatigue through minor cracks or when the auto-repairing begins to slow down. He can coat his allies in the same fashion.

Coding is the flip of coating. Essentially, is where he takes the imprint of his person and replaces it with blocks. This is often seen used in high-speed body replacement maneuvers when compromising his coating skill, given it takes a fraction of the time to build the blocks. Coding is a result of half-finished coating, this means the blocks are built, constructed, but not 'fortified' meaning they fall apart easily or can be broken apart or disassembled at five times the speed. Coding has been used to create 'data' replications of those that were coated, coding himself into another much more collapsible version of 'Gula' has been displayed in the event of a replacement maneuver.

Data Doppelganger - "Look at it this way, 'least this thing is uglier than you are!"

As explained in coding/coating, when an ally, enemy, or Gula undergoes either process, their image is saved and an imprint of their 'data' is saved. Which can be called upon by Gula and making a double. The double maintains the characteristics and qualities of the coded or coated individual. Yet it can't successfully imprint their soul, making them dependant upon Gula's will to move and issue orders as they virtually respond to his will without even speaking. Dopplegangers can be coated to keep from collapsing quicker, but because they do not possess a body outside of the blocks, their strength is calculated to be about half in equivalence to their counterpart.
Other
-has a soft spot for small children
-utilizes chaos theory as an active practice in combat
-he can double jump in midair, and uses his blocks as footholds for elevation.

So how are we going to run 3 people in it? Will two people be the 'good guys', facing one significantly more powerful villain? Or will it be a free for all, with only one victor?

[Name]; Dmitri Ivanov

[Age]; 39

[Gender];
Male

[Alignment];
Lawful Neutral with Evil tendancies.

[Appearance];
With sharp, angular features and black hair streaked with grey, Dmitri isn't exactly a looker. His skin is dry but smooth, and his nose - perhaps the only feature not thoroughly angular - is rather bulbous. His teeth are almost creepily white, and his hair is kept in a medium length, tidy fashion. His face harbors but one notable battlescar, going right through his chin diagonally.

He wears a black suit and tie, in a completely plain fashion. His physique below this is lean and muscular, and contains battlescars of it's own. He's free of tattoos, and generally is quite plain. Sometimes he wears sunglasses.

[Abilities];
Plague Winds -
Dmitri can control the wind entirely, getting it strong enough to even blow people around or buildings. When applying to anyone but him, the wind is also toxic and can cause nausea, lightheadedness, slurred speech, trouble walking, extreme sensation of pain and muscle spasms. These last a short time after the wind stops being applied.

Thunderbombs -
Ivanov throws balls of concussive and electrical magic. They float at reduced gravity, and explode on contact with anyone.

"Totale's Arrow... -
Projectile spell. It can be dodged, but it passes right through nonliving objects or spells, thus bypassing armor.

...Never Misses... -
The next attack after this move is activated acquires homing properties. It will keep following the target, and never loses momentum. It can, however, be blocked.

...It's Mark." -
Ivanov makes a basic attack against the foe. If the foe targets Ivanov, Ivanov's attacks carry more weight until they target someone else. If they target someone else besides Ivanov, they take constant physical damage until they target Ivanov. Ends when Dmitri uses It's Mark on a different enemy, or uses Wrath of the Agency.

Reinforcements -
Special: If Ivanov casts Totale's Arrow, Never Misses and It's Mark in that order, 2 Totale agents of rank S appear at his sides to aid him. They have his ability to summon weapons, and a weakened version of the spell Thunderbombs.

Wrath of the Agency -
Special: If Dmitri casts It's Mark, Never Misses and Totale's Arrow in that order, Ivanov released a much more powerful arrow that knocks enemies backwards and hold's great force.

Portals -
Rather than teleportation, Dimitri has the power to open linked portals between any two surfaces he can see. Entering one sends you out the other, and inertia is maintained. He can have as many of these pairs of two as he wants.

[Weapon(s)];
As a Totale agent, Dmitri can summon any basic weapon he needs at will, be it a gun knife or sword. These weapons don't hold massive power, and are of normal strength. He can reinforce any one weapon to make it of abnormal power and invulnerable, but doing so prevents him from summoning other weapons until he abandons the boost.

Any weapon he summons, he's a master of using.

[Information];
Dmitri works for an organization known as Totalé. Their goal is to establish control of the government of every world, starting with those worlds which are less connected to the others, and from that base amount establish control of the more powerful ones. All Totale agents are of great power. Dmitri is of the Rank V, with Z being the highest and A being initiates. Dmitri has come to this world to claim it, starting by eliminating any who stand in his way.

Totale's goal after claiming control is to use Mind-Control to turn the human population into a tool for their use. Totale agents of rank X and above all are master manipulators of minds. Being only of rank V, Dmitri lacks this power. While he has risen in rank since he first arrived, he isn't true material for rank Z. He'll probably not advance beyond rank Y.

I doubt any other information will be needed, for a battle.

Creating bonds to save our world and bring peace
Name: Cid V

Nickname: The Knight

Gender: Male

Age: 23

Persona:

"What do you know of freedom!? It'd be the very first thing you'd strip away from us if you had everything your way. I will not allow that! Not now, not ever!! It's our fate to bow before you and accept your rule? Of all the bullshit I've heard in my life, that tops the list! We'll stand, we'll fight and we will succeed! And the person who stands before me and says "you have no chance" is the bigger fool. Because if that really is our fate then I'll crush that fate and you along with it!"
—Cid to Averian

Cid has repeatedly shown himself to be and been described by others as a complex man, mainly because he completely disregards any and all rules and prefers to live as he dictates. He believes passionately that everyone is born free and should do and say what they want to; no exceptions. He has even gone as far as to say that remaining silent when you have a view or a conflicting opinion on a matter is the easiest way to crush your own willpower, because he argues that the only thing it creates is submission. That's why he speaks his mind so casually and also why he encourages others to as well, even should he be speaking to the greenest recruit or the wealthiest noble. The personal view that everyone is born free is quite dear to him as well, as he prefers his own freedom rather than being shackled by fate, stating anyone can change their future. All they have to do is make the decision to try and they already have. This singular belief has allowed him to alter not only his own fate in the past, but that of his family. Cid literally took twenty years worth of mistakes and placed the weight and consequences solely on his own shoulders, once having stated that a lesser man would've been crushed by such a burden.

Due to this belief, coupled with his belief that everyone should be free to do as they please, Cid doesn’t care what he says to others and often speaks his mind well aware of the consequences such an action may bring.. He even remarked as a child that he would "kick the king's ass". This gives him a disrespectful attitude in the eyes of others, though nothing could be farther from the truth. Cid's interpretation of freedom lends him the notion that everyone is equal, regardless of blood or rank, their birth be damned. As such he treats people the way he would like them to treat him in turn, hinting at his personal beliefs even further. In addition he is caring by his very nature.

Cid has a very calm and collected mentality, yet he can become very intense and serious if given the right provocation. Despite being a kind person in battle, he is ruthless and shows no mercy when facing an opponent he finds worthy. He is a very polite and respectable person who in turns shows respect to most. Cid often keeps a smile on his face even when fighting. But when particularly annoyed or upset, he turns cold and attacks his opponent mercilessly.

Cid always enjoys a good brawl, especially when it means he can test his abilities, or whenever the opponent seems to be a good challenge. He is highly confident in his abilities as rarely do taunts such as those often spoken by any of his opponents faze him. Despite his carefree attitude, however, he can be merciless toward those who can't judge differences in power becoming angered when a much weaker fighter continued to try to fight him despite having their body severely injured already. Cid has also demonstrated that he is perceptive when it comes to people's mental and emotional state, especially in regards to those that he is around on multiple occasions such as Dante, being able to tell what his best friend is thinking in the midst of battle from a simple glance and acting on it. Cid an will often become much more confident and reckless whenever his friends are near, although he has the strength to back up his confidence.

Appearance: The Knight

Weapon(s):

LightBringer - As one would expect a knight to wield a sword, Cid has a blade that is golden in the middle with silver edges. Its hilt is covered in red bandages and has an odd sort of "ring" right above to the hand guard. Elder Magic effortlessly flows within it causing the metal to gain a considerably leap in strength. The compatibility of the magic and blade give it an untold force, slicing through various metals with ease and tearing apart magical forces to an extent. LightBringer shares a special link with Cid and grows stronger along with him - the blade leeching off of his mana reserves in order to grow in power,

A key trait of LightBringer is it's ability to absorb forces of darkness, manifesting it to light for his weaponry, bearing the power to use this light for various means. Using it to increase the cutting and piercing power in his weapon itself, or channeling into it's wielder, absorbing into them: granting them more mana and providing light healing to his injuries. One of the key traits of the Shadow Absorption is that it can absorb abilities such as Gravity, taking away it's power and drastically increasing it's own uses. Lest it be known that Light Bringer cannot enhance itself off of Cid's own magic but, it can return his mana to him.

Innate Abilities:

Expert Swordsmanship Specialist: Cid is a swordsman of masterful caliber despite not being "classified" as a master. He has the skills needed to keep up with most high-leveled swordsman, at the least in the terms of sheer skill. Yet it is his slightly lacking physical abilities that bring him down. Regardless, Cid's style is an agile and very active style. He doesn't use an aerial-oriented style, but rather simply moves as a snake would through the ground. Mimicking an opponent's moves with his own, he parries and counters, twisting and turning, he uses his powerful swords in battle with expert skill. Although his skill is truly very high, he has a single flaw, which is inexperience. He is unable to keep up with swordsman who have been fighting for years on-end, considering the amount of experience a masterful swordsman possesses, they are able to alter their movements in only a moment, causing a disruption in Cid's own movements, thus, preventing him from being able to defeat them. Regardless, his skill in swordsmanship has high expectation.

Physical Superiority - Through training as a Dark Knight, Cid has surpassed the physical limits of a mortal human. First through intense training allowed him to reach the peak physical limits of a human. Magic was then attuned to his body to help stem a more powerful increase far past Cid's limits into moderate degrees of superhuman abilities. The attunement of magic was only used to increase to his abilities throughout his training so, interfering with his mana does not inhibit his physical abilities.

Superhuman Strength: Cid's strength is one to be noted. He is able to catch strikes from officers of a much larger stature, and throw them away, all with a single hand. His sword strikes can cause even steel structures to be broken down (this is coupled with the strength of his blade). He is also able to create minor shock waves when slicing the air, another indication of his strength.

Superhuman Speed and Agility: Cid is in possession of a naturally lithe frame. Making him perfect for maneuvering through small areas of space at high speeds, and his high leg strength gives him the ability to use acrobatics without much effort. He is also shown to use this speed and agility very effectively in combat and the usage of his own fighting style, making for a deadly combination.

Superhuman Durability: Cid possesses an inhuman amount of durability against almost any type of injury. Regardless of what it is, whether it be from physical all the way to elemental, Cid is able to stand up against it, and surpass it. This comes from his drive in battle which causes him to continually fight against his opponent, until they have suffered excruciating pain. However, even Cid recognizes the limits of his tolerance.

Superhuman Endurance: Cid also possesses remarkable endurance. Battling on for continual periods of time regardless of injuries, and possesses enough stamina to fight for extended periods of time.

Magic:

Warp: Rather than being an ability in and of itself, Warp is a spell taught to every single Dark Knight initiate during the early years of their training; and from then on they refine it. When a Dark Knight uses Warp it instantly vanishes in a puff of black smoke, before quickly reappearing at to any desired spot within range. The movement is very quick; and the spell is highly unsettling, to the degree that only the most seasoned and experienced Dark Knights can follow up their warp-movement with an attack, much less another spell or ability.

Darkness: The trademark ability of all Dark Knights is referred to with many names, Soul Eater, Shadow Wave; but by far the most common is simply Darkness; and it sums up the effects of this technique perfectly. Unlike most other supernatural abilities, this ability does not draw upon mana for power, but instead saps its users life-force in direct proportion to the intensity of the effect. When invoked, the power takes the form of a cold, cloying miasma of greasy darkness that emanates outwards from the Dark Blade of Knight in a powerful wave of twisted energy, anyone hit by this wave of shadows are instantly subjected to acute weakness, sickness and - due to the cold, unforgiving nature of the technique, powerful cold damage, which in turn can lead to frostbite.

Dark: The first spell he had learned after accepting the Rite of the Wizard, Dark is a very common spell among magic wielding Dark Knights and is normally the most used because of its elemental nature. Using Aether to draw out magical forces, Cid is capable of materializing darkness in a tangible form and subsequently manipulating it through his fine control over Aether. Normally he is seen using it as a means of simultaneous attack and offense, manipulating it in a manner similar to weaponry. However; constant drain on his magical reserves leaves him to use this sparingly, but cleverly nonetheless.

Osmose: A spell that conjures the forces of Elder Magic, using your own mana in order to replenish Cid's own reserves. It is one of the basic spells of the Arcanist and one of the Cid's own delight, along with its enhanced versions. Cid is capable of using this spell repeatedly and against at the most two individuals at any given time.

Drain: A spell that conjures the forces of Elder Magic in order to sap an enemy's very life-force and replenish Cid's own. It is an advanced spell which takes a significant amount of time to competently cast. Cid is known to have grasped the foundations of the spell, and is beginning towards its mastery.

Potent Venom: Whenever Cid strikes an enemy, he will douse their wounds with a venom, slithering off of his blade as a viscus fluid. Immensely noticeable, the poison engulfs the blood cells in a foe's body, changing first in color... a healthy red to a necrotic black. The poison will eat away at the foe's bloodstreams, channeling quickly with the ample use of piggy backing on the host's own white blood cells, making repeated strikes from the poison to rapidly increase the speed of the toxicity and slowly draining the foe of their oxygen-fed life source. Tragically misread as a toxin one must counter act with an antidote, only white magic may cure it: as any anti-venom known to man is nothing akin to a magical-based hemotoxin.
