If it remained an Ansem Saga, KH 2/ FM would've been the perfect end to Ansem's story, from there it would've been easy for a new villain to come into play. Plus he would have a total of XIII battles!

That's not what I meant. If the Xehanort Retcon never happened, and KH 2 was Ansem's last game there would've been a total of 13 Boss battles for both his heartless and nobody when added up.
