CoM is bullshit, they should have replaced the card system with the kh2 battle system when they remade it for ps2.

So with you on that one. Which is why I adore KH2's gameplay despite the button-meshingness and easy level :3

yes, the card system is annoying..

cuz i suck in strategy-based battles..

i hate it wen i have to arrange my cards to gain an advantage..

i always run out of CP, and not having the right cards..

also, the card system does not give you an unlimited supply of attacks..

that's probably the worst thing about it..

i just want to smash the heartless so badly without any interruptions..

To answer the question: As for me, I like RE:COM and COM. I like the story and the card system but it's not my favorite or first choice of KH game I would pick up. It would be my second. No, I like the first KH as my favorite. So no, NOT everybody likes COM and or is their KH game. I happen to like the first KH as my favorite, so hope that answers your question.

I actually didn't mind the Card System they brought into CoM and Re:CoM
Yes, it could have been annoying at times but to me it added an extra challenge that I was willing to embrace
The story has importance and adds depth to KH in general so I applaud it for doing so
Repeating of the same worlds did bother me; but just a tiny bit
Overall, I don't think CoM or Re:CoM is the WORST game in the entire franchise
It had its fair share of pros and cons

I've been seeing a lot of people saying that Com and Re: Com are their favorite KH games. Now here's my question.

AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO THINKS THAT ITS THE WORST GAME IN THE SERIES!?

Not to say that its a bad game but I just dont see why its the best. I hate the card system, choosing what to level up, the worlds are just like they were in KH1 except with rooms and without the whole villain alliance. The storyline's deep and all but it didn't really appeal to me. I mean, your main objective is to save a girl who you've never met (well you sort of have since she's part of Kairi) and who doesnt technically exist. And I hate story's where the main characters are clueless about stuff and we know whats going on. There are times when Sora would talk about Namine and I would yell " No you dumbass! It's Kairi! Kairi!"

Keep in mind that I havent played Reverse Rebirth so this is all based on Sora's story.

I actually enjoyed the game.
I found it a good bridge between KHI and II.
And I thought the card system was brilliant.

kh com is filler(to me anyway). it has a great story though for a filler its just setting up for kh2 . I think the kh games get better kh 1 was ok then kh com which i liked the story of kh com then kh2 just blew my mind the gameplay was way more fast paced and i loved the story! before kh2 an com all we had were heartless. nobodys are like 129310283120838x cooler then heartless and org 13 came =) kh2 to me is the best game in the serries so far an i don't see why people say its the worst imo.

KH2 had nice gameplay but it sucked as far as the plot and character development goes o.o; that's why so many people hate it, even if we don't get the fact it was too easy for some people into it.
And Nomura himself said CoM was pretty much the most important game in the series thus far, so it's hardly a filler.

I absolutley hate the game. I must admit the writing was great but I just find the overall plot to boring. Not much happens, you stay in a colourless castle the whole time and the worlds you go to feel just like fillers to take up time. If only KH2's writing was as great as CoM's so that the plot could have been taken more seriously.

And don't get me started on CoM's gameplay. Especially the part where you have the rooms then you go to a battle room thing. I'm not good at thinking about attacking in games.

I think they each are great wonderful games, but in reality kh1 is my most fav no matter what anyone says.

I thought that CoM gave the KH something to look forward too. The game overally is fun and amazing. The card battle system I thought was a interesting idea.

Not to difficult to get the hang of it.

Well, as for me, I played it a bit like star wars, I saw the commercial for Chain of memories and was like I think I will finally give this series a try. Then I bought chain of memories and was like eeeeeeeee hooked fanboyism. The I played Kh2 and was like how about I try the first one now so i get what they are all talking about. But for the longest time, and I still think, CoM is my favorite, its what got me hooked and it introduced some of my favorite characters.

I can't really understand it being the best in the series, because it's far from it. I actually don't dislke the card system though. I thought it was pretty interesting. Like Raz said

It's a nice addition, but it wouldn't be cool if it was in all the games. Just kinda gives off a whole new experience, but still
