Seventeen years ago, an utterly immortal human was discovered on an African battlefield. Since then, more of these new and unknown life forms began to appear among mankind. These undying beings start to be known as "demi-humans." One day, just before summer break, a Japanese boy leaving his high school is involved in a traffic accident that kills him on the spot. Then, he comes back to life. A huge bounty is placed on his capture. Now the boy's attempt to evade all of mankind.
I gotta say this is really turning out to be one of the best titles on Crunchyroll's manga catalog so far IMO. What I'm really enjoying most about this series is mostly the setting where the concept of a Demi-Human's immortality are explored and branch out into so many more concepts, bringing many interesting questions waiting to be answered for the reader, even more when they're cleverly tied together (you'll know what I meant by Jojo in the thread title). Another aspect I find really interesting is the main character's development slowly becoming questionably amoral on terms of his actions, motives, as well as his views on others, while also having a smug attitude about it a few times, even before his discovered immortality.. And like Baccano!!, which also deals with immortality though a slightly different variation in comparison, it makes it clear on how useful it can be but also how much it can seriously suck. Instead of tackling the long-term consequences it's currently handling and delving into the short-term ones quite well too, though uncomfortably even though this really isn't among the goriest or graphic manga out there (compared to what I've read in Zetman). But yeah, if you've really been wanting to read a really solid seinen title for a while, then this is definitely worth a look. Plus, the artwork is fantastic too.
For legal manga-reading online, I point you towards Crunchyroll Manga(you can preview the first and latest chapter if you don't have a Crunchyroll account):
Crunchyroll - Ajin : Demi-Human
If you prefer a physical release, Vertical licensed this manga and is to be released this Fall. Though if you don't feel like waiting that long I recommend Crunchyroll Manga, and soon since some of the available chapters might not be available for a while sometime after the print volumes (like with a few chapters as of recent for Attack on Titan and Fairy Tail since you can buy the books).
