I viciously slashed through the air towards the nearest Nobody with Kingdom Key, but it swirled about in the air to dodge my assault before slithering forward to headbutt me in the stomach. I grimaced, sliding back several feet and glaring at the attacking Nobodies.

"I'm not learning anything!" I heard Megan call obnoxiously from behind me, and I could just SENSE the arrogant smile she wore.

I'm not learning anything, either.

Well ... you can both DIE.

You've chaffed my pride and broken my heart, Sora....

You can only say that so many times without it getting old!

Attempting to ignore all the voices in my head, I managed to destroy my first Nobody, just as Kaze walked up, apparently having already annihilated the other two. Megan trotted up to the two of us as I willed Kingdom Key to disappear, her wide, playful grin covering half her face. I simply glared menacingly at her, which unfortunately turned traitor on me and morphed into an adorable pout. The brunette girl ceased her mindless giggling to sprint up the stairs two at a time, nearly tripping at the last step("EEP!! I'm ok.... I didn't just ... trip on the stairs...."). Beside me, Kaze sighed as Megan excitedly burst into Hollow Bastion's Library.

"She just HAS to be related to Myra somehow," I commented to the silently musing blonde beside me.

"I'm still half-waiting for her to glomp us," Kaze admitted, uncrossing his arms and making his way up the stairs after the hyperactive girl.

"Be thankful she hasn't!" I called up, grinning and promptly jogging after him.

Opening the dark mahogany double doors, I raised an amused eyebrow as Megan clutched a random book to her chest. Huddled up in a dark corner, she was cowering from Leon, whose Gunblade was trained dangerously at her. Kaze immediately sprung into action, kicking the scarred man's weapon from his hands and pulling Megan to her feet, standing next to her protectively.

"She's with us," the blonde boy growled icily at Leon, who returned Kaze's death glare before walking off, recovered Gunblade in hand.

"Tha's right!" Megan agreed, snapping her fingers in a cracker rendition of a z-formation at Leon's back, "Pwn't, Squall!"

The brunette man instantly whirled around, navy eyes smoldering, "How'd you know my name."

Megan emitted a squeal of fear, - which sounded like a dying cat, I might add - and scrambled to hide behind Kaze, who threw the brunette girl a questioning look. A short-haired girl whom I recognized as Yuffie bounced down the Library stairs, landing beside Megan and poking at her curiously. The ninja busied herself with prodding at the brunette girl, who merely tried to escape. Needless to say, she wasn't very successful.

"How DID you know Squall's name, random-girl-who-looks-strangely-like-Sora?" Yuffie asked, still poking at a silently fuming Megan.

"Uh?" She responded, brows furrowing.

"Acts like him, too," I heard a new voice comment at her rather thoughtless response, and I whirled around in time to see Cloud approach us. I pouted at the blonde, pointing in Megan's direction with a frown.

"She's nothing like me!" And, at the same time, Megan shouted in retaliation, "I'm nothing like her!" We shared a death glare.

I suddenly realized she had called me a girl. "And I am a MAN."

...HAHA! Sorry. Found it funny. Because it's not true.

I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO DIE!

I'm immortal.

DIE, YUFFIE! FREAKING DIE.

Trying to escape her was futile, and the crimson trail of blood trickling down my arm was not the most comfortable feeling in the universe.

Freaking Nobodies ... with their freaking knife-hands. I hate them so.

After the ninja was done poking me, I shuffled away from her for good measure before I caught Sora staring at me. I raised an eyebrow at the other brunette questioningly, and I assumed he was yet to realize he was staring.

It's not nice to stare.... QUIT LOOKIN' AT MEH.

"What?!" I finally shouted at Sora irritably, promptly pulling him from his stupor, annoyance having successfully wormed its way into me.

He blinked hard, gaping like a fish out of water before finally uttering,"Aisukai?"

My brows furrowed,"Who now?"

"It wouldn't be both, Sora. Just Kai," Kaze corrected quietly, sapphire eyes studying me carefully.

Apparently ignoring the blonde, Sora stepped closer, lowering himself to my eye level, and I instinctively leaned away from the other brunette,"Sora, what're you...." I simply trailed off as his eyes searched mine curiously, as if he knew me or something.

I finally raised a single eyebrow in some kind of amusement,"Can I help you?"

"Have you always lived on your home world?" Sora asked curiously.

...uh....

"Yes?" I said uncertainly. "How would I know? I can ask my mommy when I get back. OH, WAIT. I FERGOT. MAH WORLD HAS BEEN ANNIHILATED."

That seemed to get everyone's attention.

Mod flammit, stop starin' at me!

I glared at them, and Sora intercepted my line of vision so I was forced to look him in the eye again. The brunette's brow was creased in deep thought, and I pursed my lips together in a thin line, annoyed.

"Don't hurt yourself, Sora."

"I thought you didn't like being mean," Sora remarked thoughtfully with an amused eyebrow raised and a smirk quirking at his lips.

DON'T ACT LIKE YOU KNOW ME. DIE.

I was silent, half-admitting he was right. Somewhat.

[FLASHBACK TIME!]​

I was at a softball game. The tying run was on second with two outs. All I needed was a base hit to follow up my home run. My limbs shook and I took a deep breath to calm them.

No pressure. None at all.

I blocked out the cheering of my teammates and stepped into the box, staring down the pitcher. In seconds, the neon yellow softball was over the plate. Damn, that's fast....

"Ball!"

THANK MOD.

Stepping out of the box, I took another shaky breath before retaking my place at home plate. The wind up... the pitch....

I fouled it off, nearly hitting two kids on bikes. "Sorry!" I called to them, embarrased.

Didn't... mean to almost kill 'ya.... I BE SORRAH. AND NOT MEAN.

[END FILLER! I mean... flashback.... Mmyes.]​

I scowled. We lost that game. NOT MAH FAULT. The girl on second tried to steal and she got out. WAY TO GO. I took what little anger I had out on Sora and punched him lightly in the shoulder.

"Dark says hi, by the way...." Sora uttered quietly for my ears alone, then he finally, awkwardly, stepped away from me.

I took a slow blink, about to inquiry about that comment, but was interupted by Squall. Er, Leon.

"Sora, we've got a problem."

Oh, YAY. Lemme guess---

"The Heartless are back."

"MOD FLAMMIT." <--me.

Everyone threw me a questioning look, and I just glared at them.

"With reinforcements." Leon added. Squall... Leon....

"FREAKING NOBODIES." Me, again. Weird looks were directed my way once more....

"And they've figured out a way to reopen the Keyholes you've already sealed."

"FREAKING GREAT. NOW WE FREAKING SLEEP TONIGHT. FREAKING."

I glared at the floor, absolutely seething and usually-calm eyes smoldering dangerously.

"I'll ... go see what's up with Hollow Bastion's Keyhole, 'kay?" Sora declared, then carefully walked around me to leave the Library. Unfolding his arms, Kaze silently followed after the other brunette, and I glared at the retreating teens.

I'LL JUST STAY HERE IN THE LIBRARY. WITH THE FRIENDLY BOOKS THAT I CAN READ ENDLESSLY. THE NOBODIES CAN'T HURT ME IN HERE.

"Go with them."

I shifted my death glare to SqualLeon,"I'll not and say I did."

The scarred man slashed his Gunblade to the side of me, and I yelped, jumping back. He cut through the air again, and I scrambled up the stairs, half-wondering how to get to the Grand Hall.

Two... doors.... WHICH ONE. Can't... remember....

Shrugging uncertainly, I lazily decided to go through the nearest door, and was met with unfamilar hallways. I sighed, knowing how this was going to end.

Yay! You are definitely awesome krazy. Who knows what we would do without that pwnage? ....I miss Pickle... ;-; But anyways, awesome updart. It's confoozling to think that you're related to Sara and not, all at the same time. But I can't wait til it starts to make sense. ^-^ Or maybe it makes sense, I just don't get it yet. =D

It's testing time for me. Major homework to finish up since I only have two hours of school a day and need it for the exams. I don't know when I'll be free. <.<

My arms folded firmly across my chest, I finally, reluctantly, decided I was lost. I was going in circles, I swear. Hollow Bastion was so mod-flammed confusing! WHY CAN'T THERE BE MAPS LIKE IN KH2?! THEY WERE SO HELPFUL! And ... and .... Curse my terrible sense of direction! I suddenly turned a random corner, coming upon human life.

HUZZAH!

I raced over to the teenage boy, who was nonchalantly leaning against a wall, arms folded. I dipped my head down, trying to meet his gaze, but his eyes were closed. I was about to poke him when he opened one eye, which was a stunning crimson. Jumping back in surprise, I watched, one eyebrow raised, as the teen with the semi-spiky, dirty blonde hair blinked at me with one glimmering sapphire drop and one smoldering ruby orb.

A few inches taller than me, the boy's eyes were questioning my presence, and I started, trying to remember what I was going to---

"...uhm.... Where's the Grand Hall?"

His mismatched eyes lit up with recognition, then he turned silently and began to walk in the direction I had come. He stopped momentarily to motion for me to follow, and I dutifully trotted after him, admiring the gentle swish of his black denim trenchcoat. It was unnaturally quiet as we traversed the hallways of Hollow Bastion (Not Radiant Garden), and I couldn't stop fidgeting uncomfortably at the abnormal silence.

"What's yer---" I started to ask, but he interupted me.

"Kazutoshi."

"Yoshi, got it." He threw me an icy death glare, and I grinned sheepishly, scratching gently at my cheek nervously. "Is ... Sushi any better?"

His eyes regulated from their seemingly-regular scowl, and a tiny smile tugged at his lips, as if he was remembering something---

"You remind me of him."

---or someone....

I tilted my head to the side in confusion,"Who?"

'Yoshi' was silent, then he shook his dirty blonde head to clear his thoughts as I watched him with curious eyes. He pointed a pale finger down the hallway we were currently frozen in, and I noticed for the first time the dark mahogany doorframe (but no door) at the end of it.

"Inside there is the Grand Hall."

I was hardly listening; my feet had exuberantly carried me half-way down the corridor at the thought of leaving these identical, bewildering walkways behind. Reaching the opening, I peered through to find my destination. Turning, I grinned back at Kazutoshi thankfully, only for my smile to fade away as I saw he was gone. Tilting my head in confusion at the empty walkway, I finally shrugged uncertainly and stepped cautiously into the Grand Hall, watching for enemies that might attack from the floor ... or the walls ... or the ceiling.... With this thought, I hid behind whatever THING I could find while making my way to the Keyhole, now paranoid of attackers.

Upon reaching the stairs, I spyed an eight-legged SPAWN OF SATAN, and promptly screamed at the hideous beast. I unceremoniously tripped on my hurried way to the Keyhole from my fright, colliding with the wall the shimmering opening lay on, my painful head-on impact accompanied by of shriek of---

"Mod flammit!"

Er, yeah.

Rising, I happened to rest my blood-smothered hand on the Keyhole, and it promptly turned the color of my blood. I gasped and stumbled away from the crimson opening, bumping right into Sora and Kaze. Grinning sheepishly, I steadied myself and watched the Keyhole swirl between red and black, beginning to glow, but then it all froze. Halfway through it's apparent locking process. I heard Kaze whisper something about wholes. Or halves. Or something.

Yeah.

"That was really weird," I mused to myself, then took cautious look around,"...To think, this is where Sora became a Heartless." I'm not random. Not at all.

Now said brunette ... girl was confused,"What're you talkin' about? I was never a Heartless.... Right?" he turned to Kaze uncertainly, who glared, and Sora took this as an agreement.

I was baffled now, too,"But ... how else could he be here?" I pointed at Kaze.

Wasn't he Sora's Nobody...?

Kaze glared,"I am in no way related to ... that." He nodded at Sora, who was staring stupidly at the ceiling. I was tempted to look up also, but resisted the urge.

...everything I know is a lie! Damn you, Kingdom Hearts! Game, not place. Though the place needs to die, too.

"Mmkay, but what the heck did I just do?" I asked tersely, my hands perched on my hips and slight annoyance working its way into me again; I was confused, and I didn't like it when I didn't have any clue as to what was going on.

Hm. I don't like how that sentence looks, do you? I should reword it....

Ahem, sorry.

"Hell if I know," came Leon's voice from the Grand Hall's entrance,"but we'll figure it out."

The Final Fantasy Gang (I shall now officially call them that) appeared from the doorway, crowding around the Keyhole, along with the boy that had led me here. I waved rapidly at the blonde, grinning, and he blinked before dropping a lime green orb in my excited hands. Frowning down at the thing, I gave Yoshi (his new official nickname) a confused look. His mismatched eyes were smiling, but his lips showed no sign of following suit.

Sora and Kaze were making their leave from the Grand Hall, and I scurried hurriedly after them, turning to give a quick farewell wave to the Final Fantasy Gang before I was pulled away from my hoodie by an impatient Sora.
