Gender: Female
Weapon: A single long silver staff imbued with magic. It can extend and often acts as her “broom” of sorts, usually being ridden on or stirring whatever concoction she is working on. Her line of work also grants her access to many different items, some of which she keeps to herself. One of her favorites is a belt that acts as a transparent force field that absorbs a small amount of damage for her. Perfect for her low defense.
Abilities: The world's magic is at her command. The elements, cosmic powers such as gravity, stop, slow, and reflect, apparitions to do the heavy lifting, dark attacks like confusion, poison, bind, and blind, white magic such as cure, dispell, and purify are all at her fingertips.
Appearance: Alice is a tall woman, nearly reaching six feet. She always presents herself with grace, though she is nearly always flying through the air. Whether she is racing to the front lines or just reading a book, it’s rare to see her on foot. Usually she’ll be using her staff as an anchor but she has also been seen floating freely, though she dislikes doing so because of how awkward it looks and she prefers to be seen with more elegance. It is obvious the woman spends the majority of her time indoors, seeing how utterly pale her skin tone is as well as by the small dark circles that trace her dull grey eyes. She often wears a long commanding black dress with short sleeves that hugs her figure and leaves no room for carelessness. Alice also wears a silver pendent and has a small ruby stud in her left earlobe.
Personality: One would assume that Alice is all business. For the most part, they would be right. Usually straight forward and serious, Alice usually places profit first. As a result, people often see her as a strict businesswoman and only deal with her if necessary, such as buying potions, weapons, or any other items she might have in stock. However, to her usual customers she is much more open and kind, and might even offer discounts (just don't tell anyone). She has also shown a more joking side to her, though those moments are rare.
Bio: Not much has been told about Alice's past. Nobody's sure how she made her way to Traverse Town or about her childhood. All people really know is that she came in like a storm, knocking down competitors left and right and dominating the town as a small items shop named The Bubbling Cauldron. Everything from potions to weapons and everything in between is sold at the Cauldron, much to certain adventurer’s delight. When asked how she managed to make such a large name for herself, she just shrugs and says that she had help from a very rich duck and his three nephews.
Other: As mentioned, Alice owns and runs the items shop The Bubbling Cauldron. She also has gotten help from the local moogles to set up small kiosks throughout the worlds in order to expand her business as well as an easy way for customers to report back on the requests they've accepted, as well as for people to post their own requests without having to travel to Traverse Town. (more on that in a bit). Though she seems to work alone, she has many animated objects that help keep the place afloat such as suits of armor in every entrance that keep watch on everything that enters and leaves, the ever iconic brooms for retrieving items from the back storage as well as cleaning, and a gargoyle on the roof, overwatching the perimeter.
Request Board: Inside the Cauldron, Alice has set up a small bulletin board for anyone to write Requests. These requests can be as small as asking for help recovering a lost pet to as monumental as defeating a powerful heartless. A person can only take up one request at a time, though he or she can cancel the request if they wish. Requests always have a reward attached to them and the harder the request is, the better the reward will be! (No purchase necessary, terms and conditions may apply.
