About the settings... (Fun Discussion)

I just played the Demo for 16, and it got me thinking, do the Final Fantasy games even take place on Earth, is there any point in the series where they refer to it as such? I mean, there are Cars, trucks and various other vehicles we use, and sometimes there's a medevil(I doubt very much I spelled that right.) setting, and those feel like very Earth type things, but when you get to the creatures (not counting Humans and the ocasiol Dog, Cat, and Bird), they don't feel very Earthly, and in Final Fantasy 7, I think in that in that game (all variations of it) at least, they only refer to is as the planet, so could it be Earth, but Evolution just happened differently, what are your thoughts?

They're their own worlds, sometimes named, sometimes not. FF7 is on "Gaia", "Eos" for 15, etc. Apparently 4 is Earth: https://finalfantasy.fandom.com/wiki/Final_Fantasy_worlds
