About the Master Keeper Keyblade... (Fun discussion)

Assuming the MK ended up on Destiny Islands right after the worlds were restored in KH1 and by extension 0.2 (or vice versa), why didn't anyone notice it there before, especially since Sora and Riku have been back on the islands since KH2, what are your thoughts?

I think that keyblade has some special properties and it appeared there only when it was needed in order to save Aqua, the keyblade knew Sora was connected to her and it was the right time for him to save her.
Other examples would be its ability to transform Land of Departure into Castle Oblivion and how it manifested a door to the realm of darkness when Sora picked it up, something keyblades from the realm of light aren't supposed to do.
