Creating bonds to save our world and bring peace
Weather was always an unpredictable force as the rain heavily poured upon the lands of Konoha and it's surronding forests. Lightning struck in various places and thunder could be heard loud overhead. The setting for today though was the open plains within a small spot of the forests. The wind blew smoothly for such a strong storm but, it wouldn't affec the upcoming soiree between two prominent genin.

On one of the plains sat Arashi. He made his spot on the tree stump of a dead tree whilst stabbing it with his wakizashi. His red hair was drenched and somewhat covering his face while his jacket hung low...almost heavy from the rain though not enough to affect his performance. The moment drew closer as he awaited his greatest friend Rayex. Rayex would be here as they had promised eachother that today would be the day. Only a day remained before the final two weeks till the exams and both boys accepted the fact that they would be training hard and may not get to hang out.

For now they would face one last time as the old them and see who was the best so far.

The green haired leaf could feel it. As if the very heavens themselves were unleashing their woeful tears upon konoha. He thought it best to just bare it in stride, as he was always bare shoulders with every excursion. Pulling up his black vest and white scarf, Rayex jumped through the trees into the opening of a training field where its only occupants where the forces of nature and Arashi Namikaze.

The blacksmith tapped his back, Gizo was still there and as heavy as ever. By his youthful age and strong back, Rayex at this point didn't even notice it's weight anymore. The arrogant leaf just folded his arms and let a sigh escape his breath.

"Arashi." he said, in statement. A powerful shadow of a bear hung over Rayex, his demonic visage. Portrayal of great pride and a fear instilling sight as he was the sturdiest of the genin in their graduating class. "Can't have a showdown with a little atmosphere."

He cupped his hands, collecting the fierce drops of water, upon filling his hands he drank from the bounty. It was refreshing to say the least, but he evoked a kind of stare that his guild and family were both known for. Rayex's green irises mutating into star-shapes, and the furious grin he released was more than a normal sign of his cunning. Spreading his arms, he took stance of the kuma.

"Lets not waste time." he said, prepping both guard and stance.

As Rayex arrived and spoke to his best friend, Arashi's eyes slowly moved from the stump. It seemed that Rayex was readily prepared to being their fight. He could see it, the visage of the bear, but it was something that never scared the young genin. Arashi always assumed that he was one the embodied a wolf as they were cunning, deadly, and quick to bare fangs. Alpha among the genin was how he felt and this fight here would be a landmark. A wolf defeating a bear was an interesting sight to behold. Leaping from the stump with Kotaro pointed at Rayex, Arashi instantly activated his burrakurai. Chakra that was embodied by the spiritual seeped from Rayex as it was how Arashi tracked ninja, easily helping for what he couldn't see.

"Glad to know your ready." Words echoed the battlefield before battle stance was taken.

Several slow steps were taken before Arashi dashed forward without the use of warp-like speed skill. A chakratic chain wa flung from Arashi's left forearm in a horizantol arc across the chest area. As the attack came fully through, Arashi used the wet ground to slide quickly at Rayex, his right leg coming around for a strong kick to the abdomen. The chain resided back into Arashi as his left hand pushed Arashi off the ground. As soon as his feet touched the ground, he turned hard with his blade sweeping toward Rayex. Chakra streamed off it in a medium cutting wave with the overlaying image of a wolf lunging with it's fanging. The wave wasn't meant to neccessarily cut his friend in half but, wound him enough to bring the fight in Arashi's favor.

The ninja didn't mind. His breath was pretty cold against the rain, and he was more mellow and tame than anything. If anything, his fury was within his aura and he was just find with that. Feet were firmly placed on the ground. Yeah, he was focused for once and maybe for the benefit of himself this time.

Rayex cocked a smirk, as Arashi hit the go button in his brain somewhere. Acting quickly, he was following Arashi respectively, as he pushed a wicked starting move to sling himself over. As Rayex jump, the kick to the abdoment grazed, but elevated him with an unexpected intention skyward. He tilted over, his hand was on Gizou as Arashi turned, he cracked his armament with his hammer and the cohesion of its metal.

It cried as if being worn, despite its sharp and adamant nature.

"You treat your sword without respect. Whatever suits your needs bro."

Rayex spoke as a black smith, pulling himself towards the tip of Kotaro and sliding down his blade. He slammed his foot down, forcing arashi's arm with it and pinned the blade into the dirt with the weight of his Gizo Suru (hammer). His free hand came out palming arashi with a rapid Kuki Sanpu, and a burst of wind carried him three yards out. He proceeded to pick up Kotaro and eye the blade.

"This might be near indestructible...but, you know my eye for metals and minerals bro." Rayex said, tossing Kotaro back and taking stance. The fierce power of the bear seemed to linger over him as he flexed a bit.

Arashi smiled at his best friend as the boy stomped out the attack and even sent Arashi back a couple feet. He slid for a bit before catching his balance on the wet grass. Rayex was not weak nor an idiot so, Arashi would have be a bit more cunning then usual to land a general hit which would lead to much bigger actions. The landscape was pretty open and the storm made sure to give them plenty of ways to get in on an opponent. Arashi's eyes traced the area, analyzing what he could do next. A thought came instantly to his mind as he gripped Kotaro tightly. Reaching into his pouch, Arashi pulled out two kunai that had exploding tags attached to them.

He threw both of them at Rayex and then followed them with a big wave of chakra from Kotaro that wasn't laced with the spiritual. Instead of hitting Rayex, the kunai and wave trailed off to the right, hitting a tree near his friend. The tags exploded on contact, weakening it enough for the wave to cut through and knock it down upon Rayex. There was no doubt in his mind that Rayex would dodge it as the tree was pretty damn big and it was loud even through the crackling thunder and lightning strikes. Using the burrakurai extensive abilities, Arashi began predicting Rayex's movement. He held Kotaro against his chest for a second before swiping the ground three times, unleashing the Dragon Fang in three near invisible waves of chakra. The heavy rain, and dark storm clouds dropped the visibility and in turn making the waves basically invisible.

Arashi could play a long range game all day with Rayex if need be but, that wasn't the case. The third wave was meant to cover Arashi as he attempted to get within a taijutsu range of his friend....if Rayex wasn't already hurt or broken from the Dragon Fangs.

The ninja's eyes widened, his first instinct as Arashi drew kunais. To hit the deck, and he went prone on script hearing the sounds of the tags fiddle away. His body began to draw and become laced in a thick mist. His automatic technique "extreme conditioning" had began to stir. As he gripped the ground, the support was beginning to weaken significantly.

He could feel his entire arm sink as Arashi was pulling a hand to Kotaro. All Rayex could think about was the fact that he was stuck and sinking into the ground, the lack of concentration caused his technique to fluctuate rapidly and flow even faster than usual, dissociating the ground even further.

'Kusou!'

He fell through! The darkness made him blind, but the rain made sound another possibility for the black smith. He smacked the ground with his hammer and fell through as the tree tipped over and pushed him even further underground. It was almost as if he was swimming, the mud was a greeting for the ninja as he navigated underground by use of his ears.

Two hands rose out of the dirt beneath the Uzumaki's greaves. A steam was floating around them, it was freezing. They quickly tapped both of the insides of his ankles to offset his balance, and cause a panic from the touch that'd lead you to think his palms were nitrogen laced. Then came Rayex's head...and he was stuck. He blank twice, 'you gotta be kidding me??'

He grappled Arashi's legs again and used the ninja as leverage to pull himself out of the ground, clinging to his waist, his feet were still stuck in the mud. Mind you, his entire body was super cool so Arashi already within his immediate vicinity wouldn't be able to move at those extreme temperatures, and the rain to add insult to injury that permeated their clothes. A thin layer of heated steam, protected Rayex from evident hypothermia.

"Thanks for the help Pal"
