A problem with Merlin

Ok, so I've found 3 torn pages, and I know you bring them back to Merlin.
But once I get there and try to talk to him, he only asks me if I want to practice my magic.
So what do I do?

If I remember corectly, you go to the book instead of Merlin. Then the pages just magically float in somehow.

that's correct,you complete the chapter's and the pages return to their original state.i can't remember though how many the pages were...

Yeah just go straight to the Winnie the Pooh book and a new area will appear.

Merlin only wants to see Sora shooting fireballs at his furniture. Don't bother talking to him unless you're told, namely - if they talk about how they should visit Merlin when you clear a world, or once you know you need to do so, like when you get all the Arts, so you get a Shield for Goofy.

Just go to the Winnie the Pooh book next to his bed, and ignore Merlin.
He doesn't do anything good after getting Simba from Fairy Godmother other than giving a weapon to each of Sora, Donald & Goofy.
