A possibility that The Gathering could be in Radiant Garden

Xigbar said Ansem the Wise took Xehanort under his wings after the battle between the keyblade wielders.

Now how would Ansem the Wise be able to go into another world? He didn't.

The only way to travel is...

1. Gummi Ship
Ansem the Wise never heard or seen the Gummi Ship until Xehanort became one of his apprentices and had a conversation with the King for hours. This is AFTER he discovered Xehanort.

2. Keyblade
It's only now we learn that keyblade wielders can use their keyblade to travel. Again, Ansem the Wise never seen the keyblade until he met the King, which took place after BbS because he had a conversation after Xehanort was discovered.

3. Corridor of Darkness
Ansem the Wise never learned how to use the Corridor of Darkness to travel until he was betrayed by his apprentices and after he was banished to the Realm of Nothingness, which again took place after BbS.

So that just leads me to conclude that the Gathering took place in Radiant Garden. For those who wonder how Braig went to the Gathering because he couldn't travel...Simple, he didn't travel. All he did was went to the fields of Radiant Garden.

The geology of the locations is totally different, and we have no idea how Xehanort got from wherever he was originally to getting to Ansem the Wise, and nor do we know if there's only three possible modes of transport, so it's impossible to speculate and unwise to make such claims when all your 'evidence' is ambiguous or uncertain.

That, and Roxas didn't wind up in Hollow Bastion, where Sora became a Heartless, he wound up in Twilight Town. I understand the latter is an in-between world and that's why Roxas wound up there, but I'm just raising that point. It's entirely possible that Xehanort spawned in Radiant Garden. Perhaps Master Xehanort knew Ansem the Wise well enough to understand that his remnant or whatever it was would be best served in Radiant Garden, and so sent it there.

The 'door' itself is not specified. It could be the gates, it could the door outside his study. We don't know about that tidbit of information.

That just proves the time frame...not the location.

The Heart can be used to travel from 1 place to another granted it is strong enough, corridors of light (?) could also be used, to be honest there are tons of indescribable ways to get from one place to another in KH, how did Sora get from DI to TT, nobody knows.

Sora was brought to Traverse Town from Destiny Islands using a Corridor of Darkness.

Exactly, he really didn't. It was never said that Ansem the Wise had traveled to other Worlds prior to or during Birth by Sleep or even before he had met King Mickey.

The ways of Travel are...

1. Gummi Ship- Standard form of Travel for Sora. It has been confirmed in previous games.

2. Keyblade- The new form of transportation that seems to be unique to Birth by Sleep characters at the moment and possibly only Terra, Aqua, and Ven. It has yet to be their confirmed form of travel.

3. Corridor of Darkness- Is able to be used by those associated with the Darkness, and has negative effects on the Heart. Organization cloaks are commonly used by those who use this form of transportaion, to protect themselves from being swallowed by the Darkness. It has been confirmed through previous games

4. Door to Light- Has been only used once by Sora and Riku, when they were stranded on the Dark Coastline and received Kairi's letter to Sora. Many beleive that it wasn't the Door to Light but, merely a Corridor of Light or another means of transportation. It has yet to be confirmed to be a new form of transportation for Sora or, just a one time use.

5.Something that is similar to the Corridors of Darkness- Nothing has been revealed yet about this. There is no confirmation other than Nomura mentioning it in an interview.[/quote]

So that just leads me to conclude that the Gathering took place in Radiant Garden. For those who wonder how Braig went to the Gathering because he couldn't travel...Simple, he didn't travel. All he did was went to the fields of Radiant Garden.

Xigbar had Amber/ Golden eyes, that he didn't have when he was seen in Radiant Garden, so he may have used a Corridor of Darkness. The landscaping of Sunset Horizons is entirely different from Radiant Gardens.

I'm sort of having trouble picturing your theory, I mean RG pretty much consists of the village and then the castle. Where could "the gathering" be? Because I can't even possibly imagine there just being "fields"

Hallow Bastion had more than just a castle and villages. Think of where the 1000 heartless battle took place.
