Hey everyone I got the october offical US playsyation magazine and here is what it says.

kingdom hearts is unspeakably popular; in the Inited States alone it has even outsold Final Fantasy X. After 5 million units sold worldwide, director/character designer Tetsuya "Walt" Nomura basically was given a blank check for the sequel.

Nearly every aspect of Kingdom Hearts 2 has been improved from the first game. New stages for every world in the first game (Christmas Town!) are joined by worls based on Mulan, a photo-realistic Pirates of the Caribbean, and a black-and-white, retro Steamboat Willie. The gameplay's been beefed up,too. Sora can now use context-sensitive attacks against certain foes. Drive allows Sora to temporarily transform into red, melee-focused Brave Form or the blue, magic-mastering Wisdom Form. Unique Combination attacks with every party member and excitement to battles. Party members can now be swapped on the fly, even during boss fights.

Our hands-on test offered a thrilling boss fight in Beasy's Castle, a chance to escort a not-so-helpless Minnie trough a Heartless-infested Disbey Castle, and a trip through the traps of Agrabah's Cave Wonders. The Square-prenned story that pins together the Disney world looks more intence than ever, with enigmatic characters like the black-coated members of the Xlll taking a prominent role. With almost twice as much conent as the first game, Kingdom Hearts 2 looks to be the sequel we've been hoping for.

Pub. Square Enix Dev. Square Enix. Release December. <<Do not trust magizines for release dates.

A note to the mods.

Please dont get rid of this thread. I spent time typing it and I know there is a release thread right there but i was just copying what the book said.

A note to everyone else.

I took pictures of the magazine so if you want to see them , tell me and i will put them up.

We've known that for quite some time now. Just because its new to you dosen't mean it is new to others. Remember that. But thanks for sharing that with us. Its always nice to post news that could possibly be new. But more than likley we would have already found it.

Thanks for the info, KHandBritney. It may not have as much info as the review in the last issue of that book( which had a HUGE section on KH2), but I'm glad it got a good review at least. I'm happy that you can now swap party members at any time, that's more conveinent, instead of having to find a save point and change them.

Didn't I say it wasn't the exact same thing? Its better than what you posted. The info in your mag is old news already stated. I am NOT wrong. Plus that scan has an old pic in it which can ALSO be found at IGN or GAMESPOT. Don't say I'M wrong you are the one who isn't comprehending.
