chapter14
see ya man,anyway,for anyone else who will bother to read this,chapter14
As they sat,wondering why,why they were there,why such a thing happenned to them and why did this have to happen.
Eventually,Chris stood up "I can't take this anymore,I'm going to find out why,were here"he stated.
"How?"Laura asked.
Chris pointed to the mirror and explained "that's a two-way mirror,they can see exactly what were donig,there probably examining us".
Chris picked up a chair and threw it at the window,smashing it.
To his shock,it was just a regular mirror,Chris fell to his knees "why is everything going wrong today?".
"Hey,hey it's alright,"Laura said as she walked over to Chris to comfort him.
"No,no it's not alright, look at what's happenned to us today,and tell me that's alright?"Chris shouted.
"Hey man,calm down"Rob said,soothingly"look,we've all been through alot,but there's only one way,we can get through the rest,and that's by sticking together,look,we've only known each other a day,but we've been through more in a day,than most people have in a lifetime,and we've survived and we'll survive anything else they through at us,ok?.
"Ok"Chris said meakly.
" 'Sides,not many people striken fear to an entire town in the space of two hours"Rob said as Chris laughed softly.
Erika and Laura stood side by side,admiring how the boys had bonded,and hopefully putten their misunderstandings behind them.
"Confusing,aren't they?"Erika said.
"Huh?"Laura replied.
"Boys,you never know what to expect"Erika explained.
"That's true"Laura agreed.
"Wait,did anyone check to see if the doors locked?"Erika said.
The group stood silent,Erika walked over to the door,turned the knob,and presto,it openned.
"My bad"Chris said,as he looked back at the mirror.
"S'alright"Rob said.
They walked out the doorway,to find an endless corridoor with an uncountable amount of doors.
"This..................could take a while"Laura pointed out.
"No kidding"Chris agreed.
Before the kids could start their journey,they heard familar voices approaching,they turned round to see two very familiar faces.
"Mac and Joe"Rob snarled.
"Oh,hey kids"Mac said nicely"what's up?"
"Here to gass us again?"Laura said almost sarcastically.
"We were only dong our jobs"Joe assured them.
"And that was?"Laura asked.
"To get you here,of course"Joe replied.
"And why do you want us here?"Laura want to know,"well,if you'd come with us W will explain all"Joe answered.
The kids agreed to follow Mac and Joe,down the long hallway,they stayed atleast two meters away from Mac and Joe at all times,to be ready if they tried anything.
They came to big wooden double door,and inside was a long conference table,with General Weinstein sitting at the top of it.
"Agent Macpharlene,agent Johnson,you may leave now"he ordered.
Mac and Joe left the room as instructed.
"Sit down kids,it's alright,no tricks here"General Weinstein assured them.
The kids sat at the table facing each other,Chris making sure,he faced Erika,as he sat in the chair across from her,he winked at her,to be met with Erika rolling her eyes up to heaven,Chris sighed to himself "I'll get her".
"Well,well kids,what a day you've had,we heard of your experience in Hickory Falls"Weinstein said as he giggled to himself.
"Cut to do chase,general,why are we here?"Rob asked.
"I see,we have an impatient one here,well here goes"Weinstein said, "as,Ive already explained,your parents had the same genetics you have,which meant they also had powers,but that's not all you don't know about them,do you remember the "Anti-evil force1"?"Weinstein asked.
The kids nodded.
"Yes the Anti-evil force1, the first batch of super heroes...........................have you guessed,who they were yet?"Weinstein asked "yes,your parents were the anti-evil force1,and we would like you,to become the second wave,thus becoming the anti-evil force2."Weinstein told them.
"B-but,we have no training"Erika admitted.
"And,that's why your here,if you decide to stay,we will train you to become,as good,maybe even better than your parents"Weinstein said.
"Can we have some time to think about it?"Erika asked.
"What's there to think about,I wanna be a superhero,where do I sign up?"Chris asked enthusiastcly.
Weinstein once again ignored Chris and told Erika "look you can stay here,tonight,and decide tomorrow,anyway it is getting late,you best go to sleep,Macpharlene and Johnson shall show you to your rooms".
Mac and Joe enterred the room,as if they knew when they were needed,"c'mon guys,this way"Joe said gently.
The kids once again stayed a couple of feet away from Mac and Joe,"why are we thinking about this,the only bad thing about this, is the name,but I'm sure we can change that"Chris said.
Rob spoke up"Look Chris,we'll all talk about it in the morning,and decide then"...........................

well I felt that chapter was so soppy,I needed a normal one to try and balance the scales,so *ahem* here goes
