Name: Ghast Vincely

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Appearance: Ghast isn't one to look at. He covers his head with the hood of his darkblue hoodie, which also covers Ghast's torso. Next he wears long jeans which cover the back of his sneakers, almost touching the ground. The sneakers are black and white, matching the colour of his fingerless gloves. His face is concealed by the shade his hood provides, but the fringe of his blonde hair can be seen.

Abilities: Ghast wields a special type of energy that can only be used by himself.
He only uses and wields Energy, it is impossible for Ghast to produce any form of Energy. Energy is everywhere, created by the Big Bang millions of years ago. Ghast can turn Energy into practically anything imaginable, from weapons and armour to in-animate objects, but none of them can be in a solid form for long before they disappear and return to the main source of Energy.

Yeah, I am using another character called Ghast again. Mostly because I like the name.

Ghast didn't like heights. He didn't really love being on the rim of a volcano either; but he loved lava.
He paced the rim and looked to his side and into the lava as he did so; a barrier of energy around the rim so if he fell over he wouldn't die horribly. The barrier was blue, of course, everything Ghast created from Energy was blue. It was like his trademark, you would say.

The Energy levels were great up here, being at such a large height. He could pretty much make anything with this level, as long as he kept his focus.

Tomas had just finished his hike, and came to a rest at the summit of the volcano. Below was a huge pit of lava, bubbling and boiling with intensity and deadly heat. He considered the death that would await him if he should fall, and wondered if his rudimentery knowledge of the fire element would help him. He doubted it.
A blue barrier of energy began to span the gap, a most intruiging sight indeed. Tomas had come for the view, but now stayed for the mystery. Nothing particularly strange was in sight. Nothing was in sight to tell the truth. Just a whole bunch of valcanic rock, and that barrier.
He scanned the rim of the volcano, and saw only one thing.
A man, of his early twenties, was strolling the perilous edge. Tomas could tell that there was something different about this man, something that made a somewhat strange aura. Tomas moved towards him. Time to investigate.

Ghast could see the man approach him, possibly mystified by the barrier around the pit of lava.
Ghast wasn't entirely one for talking to people, most of the time humble conversation would be turned into large arguments.
Good lord, Ghast thought ,now I have to talk to some-one.

As the newcomer approached Ghast inintentionally put both hands in his pockets, and spoke a single word.
'What?'

Tomas frowned. What a nice way to start a conversation. Tomas silently waited, allowing the man to have time to apologise, and start a fresh. He did not.
"Do you have any idea of what is going amuck in this mountain," Tomas inquired, pointedley glaring at the man; he was not going to be nice unless he was treated equally. As the stranger stood there, insulting Tomas in his silence, Tomas could feel the flickers of the fire that lay about him, and inside. He could feel his want to summon the flaming gloves to his hand, and reduce his opponent to a flaming pulp. He managed to hold it all back, showing only a hint of his emotions in his eyes.
Tomas grimaced, which looked remarkably weird when combined with his polite smile, and offered his hand for a shake. He quickly withdrew it, and merely said, "Name's Tomas."

Ghast nodded back to Tomas in a polite manner, then turned his head to the bubbling mass inside the volcano.
'Call me Ghast.' He had decided to keep to short sentances so he didn't have to talk to Tomas much. He was still keeping focus on the levels of Energy here and every time he spoke he lost a bit of focus.

Then he had an idea.

If he were to see how great these levels were by a means of fighting, Ghast would have more experience than any other Energist with such high Energy levels.
'Tomas, you look dependable. Fight me.' That was all Ghast said before he walked forward a bit, turned back to Tomas, then made a sword in a split second.

As soon as the words 'fight me' left Ghast's lips, Tomas took a step backwards, allowing him to be in a position to manauvere around the blade that swiped through the air. He ducked under it, stepping in close to his opponent. In close his fists would allow him to gain the upper hand over someone that wields a longer weapon. Tomas took a sharp breath, and fire twisted up his arms. He wrapped his arms around Ghast's waist, letting the flames sear in, then picked him up over his head. He held him in the air for a single second, waying up what he was about to do, then prepared to throw Ghast off of the edge into the lava.
The energy around the volcano seemed to falter, and Tomas began to make the connection that this person, Ghast, was the one that was messing with the volcano. Now it was Tomas' turn. He raised the lava into the sky, and drew it towards him. Time to make some toast.

Wow.

Tomas was a good opponent. Ghast wouldn't go as far as saying Tomas was a perfect adversary, but he was making out to be a good challenge.

The incredible pain Tomas caused through burning Ghasts waist was enough to get Ghast really into the fight. He didn't show anything on his face but a frown, yet on the inside he was screaming. When Tomas prepared to throw Ghast into the volcano the Energist changed the Energy inside of it, so when he plumeted down Ghast would only need to give a thought and his fall would stop just above the lava.
Then Tomas didn't throw him.
He gathered all the lava from the volcano and started to bring it towards him, most likely plannig to kill Ghast in the process.

Bringining out big attacks at the very start? Ghast thought.

He quickly summed up a large amount of Energy and made a dagger. With a swift swing he sliced Tomas' wrist then fell to the ground. Jumping to his feet and stepping backwards Ghast placed both of his hands on the ground. He felt the Energy at his fingertips, it was a feeling some would refer to as 'magical'.
Ghast channeled the energy forward and out of the ground, making a magnificient blue spike stab into the lava that Tomas was gathering. Once it had entered the lava Ghast clicked his fingers and it spread around most of the lava, freezing it solid.

Now Tomas didn't have much to work with.

A blade made of a blue energy slashed his wrist, making Tomas drop Ghast. Tommas dropped and gasped, and checked the cut. It wasn't to deep, as the cut had been made from an awkward position. Rather than hurting Tomas, this merely infuriated him. He knew that it was dangerous to submit to his emotions, especially for someone who weilded the flames. But he was too mad. He rose to his feet, and his eyes began to turn into the inferno which was inside of him.
He saw a spike of blue rise out of the ground and literaly turn one element to another. With a flick of his hand this man had turned lava into ice, then shattered it.
This was going to be a helluva fight. Tomas raced forwards, and ducked as he came near Ghast. As he was low, he spun and kicked out, sweeping his opponent's legs out from under him. It took him a fraction of a second to halt his spin, and an equal amount of time for him to pin Ghast down.
He continued his barrage by allowing his arms to be swept aflame and pounding Ghast to the face. He raised his hand for a powerful strike, and a ball of red flames gathered on his fist. With animalistic fury and strength, Tomas brought his fist down, going to slam Ghast in his puny face.

Ouch. Ouch. Ouch.

The hits pounded into Ghast, causing a large amount of pain. Ghast preferred pain caused by powers over more physical types of pain, physical dealt more dmage that you could feel.

Then Tomas raised his hand, and a ball of flame appeared on his wrist. The man was blinded by fury and rage. Something Ghast could use quite well against him. Once Tomas would bring down his fist to hit Ghast in the face the Energist would be able to quickly use weak Energy and knock his arm off course with a crystal from the ground.
Well, he better put his plan into motion.

As Tomas' fist came down Ghast smirked, a crystal flying from the ground and knocking his foes fist aside. Within another second Ghast covered his now free hand with pure Energy and gave Tomas a swift right hook, manipulating the Energy just before it left Tomas' cheek so it blasted the man backwards.

Now Ghast could get to his feet, and once he did the Energy on his hand ran all the way up his arm. Ghast then manipulated the Energy and turned the Energy into an arm cannon.

Then he fired.

As the killing blow came down a crystal sprung out of the ground, and flung Tomas' hand away. A crater was burnt into the ground next to Ghast's head. Tomas' anger washed away, and he stared at his fist in amazement. He realised that the move was quite stupid as he was punched in the face by glowing energy. Energy clung to his cheek, and yet he was still dazzled. He was then blasted backwards in a huge explosion. As he flipped backwards, he saw a cannon literally sprout out of Ghast's hands. He wondered if it was a concussion effect, or real.

Tomas decided that it was smart to trust his instincts, and thrust his hands downwards, letting momentum push him downwards. A cannonball of some sort flew over his head, and he tumbled down the mountain. He couldn't halt his rolling. At last, he plunged his hands deep into the earth, and yelled out in pain as his hands became covered in cuts and as his shoulders almost popped out.

Tomas wasn't going to be beaten so pettily though. He shook his body, and checked his hands. The cuts weren't to deep, and he could get them fixed some time afterwards. Tomas ran upwards, hands behind him, and prepared to leap out of the way of any kind of attack. This person was confusing, but Tomas started to understand his power. That allowed him to make a few assumptions.

In this case though, sadly, he could make none.
