--It has a deeper meaning than "358/2 Days" because reading the number makes you lose a bit. "Days" can have just an ample meaning, like: the Days Roxas spent on the Org; Days he spent with Axel/Xion/both; the Days he missed Xion; and so on. Plus, trying to read "Kingdom Hearts, three-five-eight days over two" is a mouthful, LOL.
That's what I figured as well. And I think "358/2 Days" means that two Nobodies related to Sora were living 358 days in the organization, while the missing 7 that adds to 365 days (a year) is the last week of existence Roxas had as an individual before fusing with Sora..
I noticed that too, but after playing around with it for a bit, it doesn't seem to have much significance, at least in the usual KH fashion.Hmm, if you divide 358 with 2 you get 179. I wonder if that has any deeper meaning?
-- Just one more thing that I think everyone is wondering, just what does the title "358/2 Days" mean?
Nomura: That's the question that everyone has to ask in interviews. (laughs) There is an answer, but I think it's best not to answer it. Well okay, I'll give a little hint. "/2" is read in English as "over two", but this isn't the kind of over that means to "pass over" something. The 358 days are shared between two people, so "/2", but I'd rather you imagine which two we are talking about. After you've finished playing it you might change your mind about who the two people are.
-- 358 Days is one week short of a complete year, of course...
Nomura: Yes, of course for people who played KH2 they know that the game is like a countdown to the final day. And of course they know the realize why it's missing that one week. So they already know the reason for the title is that it is "a week short of a year, split between two people." But is that really the true answer? I named this game hoping that people would think on it even after they've finished playing it.
I noticed that too, but after playing around with it for a bit, it doesn't seem to have much significance, at least in the usual KH fashion.
It doesn't really have deeper meaning because you're not supposed to read the title that way.
Haha, not everything is as numbers and symbolism-heavy as Tokyo Ghoul, Hemmo. =w=Aah okay, thanks! For a little while I thought I might be onto something.

Regardless, let's look for hidden tarot cards in the games now 8D
the only mystery left to the players is who the two people refer to and there are decent arguments made for all sorts of combinations.
Over 2 is some needless complication added to make the title more interesting looking. Ah, I accidentally defined Xion.
It's call " A Year-backslash-Two Days"
if only.Maybe the title represents how long it takes to actually defeat the Dustflier
