Oh yes, this is real. I've finally lost it.

I've actually had this idea for a long time. Originally it was meant to be a joke because it was such a crack pairing and I don't know many people who ship it. But then everyone started making fanclubs for every possible pairing under the sun, and I thought, "Great, now it'll just look like I'm just jumping on the bandwagon!" Finally, today, I thought, "What the heck? It's my OTP, and I want to make a club in its honor!" So, here it is!

Reasons:

1. Because Kairi LIKES lazy bums!
2. Her name means "sea," and his element is water, so they have a similar theme!
3. They're both incomplete, at least while he was present in the games: he doesn't have any real friends in the Organization, and her two best friends had disappeared. They could find companionship in each other.
4. Everyone loves a good forbidden romance! But this one's even better because it doesn't have to involve needless angst: they're far too naive to realize that their relationship could lead to problems...yet.
5. On that note, it can be either emotional and angsty or light and fluffy, depending on your preference!
6. Demyx might not have a heart, but fellow Nobodies like Axel and Namine proved that it's possible for them to grow attached to people with hearts.
7. He could show her how to defend herself properly.
8. She could show him when to NOT run away!
9. The CHEMISTRY!

Roses, roses. For some reason, the gray room was filled with Roses.

"Marluxia!!!" Saix yelled from a distance, trying to find number 11. He hastilly took a dark portal up to Marluxia's garden, where number 11 always was when he wasn't on missions, or plotting his apocalypse of the world of planet earth.

But instead of finding Number 11... Another person was there.

Never who Saix expected.

"Number 9, why are you in here?"

Demyx quickly turned around from his position in front of the rose bush, jumping up as he did so. "What are you... Doing...do - doing.. here... nu-nummm--mmmbbeerrrr- seee-see-see-eevvv-eeennn

"I would like to ask you that question."

"I was... cleaning, yes! Marluxia wanted me to..."

The lie was eteched upon Demyx's face. "Did you cause the flower invasion in the gray room?"

"Uhhhmmmmm...." Demyx. "Well..."

"You are responsible for making sure all those flowers are out of that room by tomorrow at 4 a.m."

Demyx nodded, and gave a salute. Saix smirked, and took a dark portal to who knows where.

Demyx looked at the one rose he had picked out. The one special rose. It was made of pure red and beauty. He didn't care if Marluxia severely punished him for taking it, he needed that rose.

Very soon after Demyx arrived in Destiny island, changed into his normal clothing that he wore whilist there.

Kairi was walking along the sandbar, with her friend Selphie.


"Kairi, kairi!" He carried the red rose, while running over to her.

"Dem-dem!" Kairi squeled, giving him a huge hug.

"How are you?"

"I'm good."

He handed her the red, red rose.

"oh.. it's just.. beatiful." She gave him a peck on the cheek and hugged him.

Messing with Marluxia, well, was worth it.

Lexaeus/Namine?? That's...a little odd, and I don't like adult/child pairings, but I can see why you'd like them since they're both quiet.

Thhink of it this was, (Lexamine) Most of the organization members were rud eot her at one point or another, or ruide to her when we see it or not.

Lexaeus is very quite, so h'es like the silent hero who really wouldn't pull crap on her. (XD) Maybe not enterally romatic (No matter how much I would like that) but more like a friendship FC, ya know?

Oh, but you see, that wasn't the real Kairi. The real Kairi is sitting over there, waiting to share a paopu fruit with Demyx. I was talking to DEAD FANTASY Kairi, who stopped by to visit. So HA!

...it's the Demyx/Kairi FC. It's a crack pairing. The usual rules don't apply!

Though, when you think about it, it could be because Demyx is kind of like Sora: laidback, cheerful, a lazy bum, and for some reason, fanfic writers have a habit of portraying the two of them as hyperactive and stupid. In other words, it's not too much of a stretch to imagine Kairi liking Demyx because she's already shown that she likes dorkish guys like him. And yet it's unique and wonderful in its own way!

Have you read some of the other fanfics that I posted on the OP, Virgil? I particularly recommend "Songs," because that's the one that pretty much sealed my love for the pairing!
