I just thought of something. How will people be able to tell Roxas, and Ven apart?
Aside from the outfits? I honestly have no idea. xD; Jeez, can you imagine them trying to go to school together on Destiny Islands? Methinks they'd have to wear their wristbands on opposite hands, or maybe Roxas wears the rings or something...

I have the same problem D:! some people says that they have different hair colour, but I can't really notice it :/
and now that I'll cosplay as roxas, I can use the wig to cosplay as ven, and if I use the wig while wearing normal clothes, I may as well be roxas or ventus .__.

I find his story compelling being told to your face your not suppossed to exist and you hinder the true heroes existence is pretty sad (isnt that another thing people love about namine)
And i just found his role great, from his interactions with other nobodies to his meeting with sora (from those polls in various magazines i'm glad i'm not the only one)
personally I'm not an advocate of character hating and hate clubs in general though
