I think RG would be too unoriginal. We already had it as a base in KH2. DI might work because it was only playable in KH (and CoM meh) as a world that we had limited access to for a short time. It would be interesting to be able to go back continually. But, yeah, I would say a new world would be the best option.

And we see them in a Castle in the trailer, to me that seems like a more ideal place for them to live, especially since "someone" comes down the stares and they immediately gather to them. Screams VAT's Master to me =/

As for Kairi's memories, there's nothing particularly special about them. If I personally recalled memories from before I was 5, I think I wouldn't remember many details about them.

There's always the chance that they never showed them their keyblades anyway.

I think that certain memory would find it's way of returning to them once the happenings of Kingdom Hearts occurred.

Well, it'd be the first Castle we've seen with a Court Yard... plus if it was a castle we've seen, i think someone would have identified it by now. I mean, CO looks obvious. RG, woudl still have a similar look to how it is 10 years later, least some of the structure wise (not to mention they would have been well known in RG, not just "people with the blades of keys" or what not).

That has to do with Kairi being five, I was implying that it could be similar with Sora or Riku. They're very young. Memories and whatnot.

That isn't to say that we know the other Castles don't have courtyards. And if it was, say, Beast's Castle, which has a courtyard, it could be a matter of it just accidentally not being reported.

I don't know... Kind of pulling at strings. I always figured that first scene was the beginning of the game, with the Master coming down to tell them about MX. Of course that is just speculation.

I wasn't saying it might be a Castle on DI, lol, I was saying it might be, say, a part of Cinderella's or Aurora's that we haven't seen before.

Trust me, I want it to be a new castle on a new world. I'm just providing evidence to the contrary so we don't get our hopes too high.

I honestly think that DI's involvement in BBS is minuscule to the BBS story. The whole point of it being in the game is to A.) show a cameo of Sora and Riku, and B.) So Terra can see Riku and choose him to be a keyblade wielder, since that is crucial to the KH story's foundation. So, I doubt that it's the home world to VAT.

Maybe by "erasing" Ven, he is also erased from everyone's memories. Perhaps Terra was erased soon after Ven as well. As for Aqua, well, all she does right now is look good.
