equip the metal chocobo cause it has longest reach put hi potions in your items(elixir is a bit of an overkill) equip second chance and dodge roll and u should be good dont worry about magic....just cure

thats a load of BS but....in the story when u die it will give u and option to keep fighting and u will come back as mickey and fight.....such as the beast castle when your fighting the lance guy but thats the only place it happened to me so idk any other places.....
